Girls and women shouldn't have to get changed in front of a person with a penis, however that person self identifies.

Why does colleens feeling trump everyone else? Colleen doesn't want to share a changing room with other people who have a penis. These girls don't want to share changing rooms with people who have a penis.

enjolrass this is what I think is so baffling about the trans community's insistence on supporting people like Colleen and Steffonknee. These men are clearly perverts - if I were trans I'd be yelling "these people are NOTHING to do with me" instead of defending their rights to prey on women and girls.

In the case of Tara Hudson though - she has a penis, she uses it for her in job and advertises its.large size, and she seems to enjoy giving people.a.good beating, which let's.face it is a predominantly male characteristic.

So, my question is, what is it about her exactly that makes her 'female'?

Hermione and Vestal the group I was referring to is a committee voting on women's rights for a business/corporation (being deliberately vague - would probably lose my seat if I spoke out!). Before I joined, they had voted on an addition to their constitution/rule book that trans people within the company would be treated the same as their self-identified gender. So a group full of men in male clothing and in female clothing was inevitable really.

It means some of the women's toilets have been given over for gender neutral toilets, and non-binary men can go into the women's toilets. They don't have to have fake tits or women's clothing or lipstick. They just have to walk in and assert their right to be there. It's terrifying really but I don't want to lose my seat and not know what's going on so I can at least try to mitigate the total obliteration of women's rights.

At its worst, I have to share a toilet with men. As a survivor of multiple rapes from men (and as a lesbian, these are my only experiences of penises), I've worked out which toilets to avoid. At its best, the queues for the women's toilets are much longer and the men's shorter. It is noticeable.

It will actually lead to the end of sex or gender segregation. Non-trans men will have their own special space and everyone else will be in the women's spaces.

Also Pink News picked up the Stefonknee story today in a "look, it's another trans woman being attacked by the internet, look how oppressed and attacked they are by the violent transphobes" way.

According to the comments, it's her Inner Child which is just one of the sacrifices that trans women have to make and she's very brave for not giving in to all the people who demand her to be someone she isn't. Like her children I guess...

Have people lost their minds? How can the salient point about "Stefonknee" be that they are a transwoman, as opposed to someone with major mental health problems? It's like the "trans" in this scenario actually overrides all of the other sinister, fetishistic parts of the story.

I saw something about that Stefonknee story. It said the person identified as a 6 year old girl.

Now, the newspaper referred to Stefonknee as a she, but said Stefonknee was 52. Why do they accept that Stefonknee is a big boobied girl, but not refer to them as Stefonknee the 6 year old? Both are a fantasy. Neither is the reality. Stefonknee is as much a 6 year old as Stefonknee is a she.

You have to wonder about the mentality of the "adoptive parents" and the welfare of their biological granddaughter in that scenario. Just when I think I've seen it all....

Is it the fact a grown male who says they are really female, or is because the same grown male says they are more specifically a 6 year old female? Is it because they had actually identified as 8 before, but easily changed this to 6 to play with the other girls. You know, the girls just like Stefonknee.

It's a fetish when Stefonknee describes how surprised she is when so many people come out to her. Including a 300lb man who turned up at her house on a motorbike. This man asked if he could wear her clothes and kissed.

I've been part of kink communities before where people identify as "littles" - they play like babies/children and get looked after by their "big". I never quite felt comfortable about the idea as I did think it was kind of fetishising children, but none of them ever claimed they were actually six or abandoned their job/partner/children for it. A 52 year old man who says they identify as a child and dresses themselves up like a little girl. How is that not a mental health problem? How is that not a fetish? It's no different, to my mind, of the men who dress like babies and wear nappies and get people (women, that is) to feed them with bottles and change their nappy. One cannot "identify" as a child and it not be pathological, surely?

And also, if you accept that many transwomen are autogynephiles and are turned on by dressing in female clothing, then it follows that "Stefonknee" gets turned on by dressing like a little girl. I can't think of an innocent explanation, personally.

Well, this is what happens when people arbitrarily screw about with language and attempt to change the long-standing definitions of straightforward words and terms. The substitution of the term gender (except for when used in grammar, of course) for the term sex is fairly recent, and this abominably stupid situation re placing men in women's prisons is a direct result of that.
