That Tyson Fury is a Dickhead

He is a good boxer, granted. He should so be removed from the shortlist of sports personality of the year and put up for Dickhead of the year! According to him Jessica Ennis-Hill "slaps up good" and his personal beliefs are that " A women's best place is in the kitchen and on her back". Even if he thinks it's just harmless banter and a part of his show man personality, he is still a dickhead for saying these things out aloud!

Crying at Hardnut McPunchy

Andy Murray is quite funny in interviews. He just isn't Mr Showbiz on the court or when dissecting his tennis.

AnyFucker · 06/12/2015 20:28

I get it.

Andy Murray hasn't done the Jungle, hasn't done Big Brother and refuses to do the arselicky money spinning Hello spread

the pics of his wedding looked lovely, and natural and he came across as a very happy man

his Scottish accent sounds dour, admittedly

but they all do < ducks >

LineyReborn · 06/12/2015 20:29

Murray is witty but maybe it's not 'obvious' enough for some used to the cuntishness of wannabe celebrity.

AnyFucker · 06/12/2015 20:30

maybe Andy needs to be more orange

Caprinihahahaha · 06/12/2015 20:30

Andy Murray is very funny and a perfectly nice guy.
He has a monotone voice and hates the media. Neither of which have anything to do with his personality.

flippinada · 06/12/2015 20:31

Has anyone posted yet along the lines of Tyson Fury being 'refreshingly unPC' or similar?

BlueJug · 06/12/2015 20:31

Personality isn't just "Daily Mail" type glitz and glamour. Or "bubbly"-ness and "banter".

Personality includes strength of character, ability to dedicate yourself to winning, ability to lose with good grace even when it is the most important thing in the world to you and your battle/loss is very, very public. It includes ability to play in a team and lead that team but not take all the glory.

Surely it also includes being able to maintain good family relations, a strong relationship/marriage, to stay grounded. (And to just get on with it in spite of digs and sneers and criticisms about his personality/looks/lack of charisma)

Tennis in the UK was floundering before he came along.

Andy Murray has bags of personality and deserves SPOTY.

I like understated people

People who shoot their mouths off at the first hint of interest in their personal life, and then make a career out of it have my disrespect

seasidesally · 06/12/2015 20:34

does anybody know how much he won for the fight ??

SurferJet · 06/12/2015 20:35

He's entitled to his views & he doesn't give a toss who he upsets by the looks of things.
In that respect he has got 'personality' & will probably pull in millions of votes.
I don't agree with his views, but I'd far rather listen to someone genuine than to the usual scripted bores - has anyone who's won sports 'personality' of the year actually got a personality? - only a couple I'd imagin.

AnyFucker · 06/12/2015 20:35

What endeared me to Andy all the more was when he won the Davis Cup Final. His team mates were jumping all over him on the floor to celebrate and you could see the almost immediate dawning realisation on his face that he hadn't shook his opponents hand. So he brushed them all off, got on his feet and went to shake hands with all the opposing team individually

That is "sporting personality" to me

he should win it just for that

flippinada · 06/12/2015 20:37

Yeah come on Andy, make some effort, FFS, you boring bastard.

How about an 'edgy' comedy routine between serves or an affair with someone off TOWIE.

If that's too much he could at least slap on some fake tan.

Samcro · 06/12/2015 20:38

A man named after a rapist is never going to turn out good

SauvignonBlanche · 06/12/2015 20:38

I agree AnyFucker and for the same reasons. Grin

Footle · 06/12/2015 20:39

Does "slaps up good" mean "looks better if you hit her", or "looks all right once she's got make up on" ? I'm not enamoured of either meaning but one
Is less unacceptable than the other. He's still very nasty, whichever.

AnyFucker · 06/12/2015 20:39

did you see it, SB ?

I was bloody choked up, I can tell ya

Leafitout · 06/12/2015 20:44

Footle I'm wondering the same.

I was too AF, it showed the measure of the man.

Bambambini · 06/12/2015 20:45

Tyson has a sound fan base amongst the DM commentators. He possibly would be a popular winner.

Andy's wedding looked refreshingly happy, unpretentious and just down to earth and fun. Every time I saw Jaimie at the DC - it was like looking at Judy, so like his mum.

SauvignonBlanche · 06/12/2015 20:48

Tyson Fury himself says,

"Hopefully I don't win @BBCSPOTY as I'm not the best roll [sic] model in the world for the kids".

At least he has some insight into his shortcomings.

AnyFucker · 06/12/2015 20:52

fair do's

LineyReborn · 06/12/2015 20:55

Why does the Mail it necessary to publish the transcript though? Does Tyson Fury deny he said it all?? That's what the Mail are implying.
