This letter of complaint was brought to my attention today.

As I rule I do not watch Jeremy Kyle as I find the man vile however his treatment of this women was disgusting and I think his show should be axed.
The author urges anyone else who feel as strongly as she does to complain to ITV, I will be sending my e-mail today.

I have not seen him on TV for years and years and have been left tearful and shaking after that short clip. Poor woman, the 70's & early 80's were a different world when it comes to DV - she said she had no one in the world to help her, beyond sad.

I'm going to be really unpopular here but I don't feel any sympathy for the daughter who was adopted. She admitted she had no memory of her life with her birth mother and had a good life with her adoptive family. Why did she feel the need to drag her birth mother on national to to explain herself?

Not unpopular at all. I too feel sorry for the daughter, I suspect the author of the letter is correct when she states that the daughter was not after the angry answers JK was and simply wanted to ask her bio mum why.

I used to work in a centre for vulnerable women with known psychiatric problems. JK researchers were constantly ringing up to ask if any of our clients would like to make a bit of money and come on the show. We had a sign in the office that said 'If JK ring, tell them to f**k off.' They actively sought vulnerable people to jeer at and goad, knowing that the fifty quid they'd bung them was enough of an incentive if they were desperately hard up.

Not at all it shows him for the sick twisted bully he is.

That clip is awful. My background is like that family - terrible abuse and mum had lots of children because she wasn't 'allowed' to say no plus once she had children she was trapped and easier to control.

I've complained.

I find his hatred of women very very frightening.

This bully should not be allowed to continue to spout his venom this way just because he gets good ratings. His show has a duty of care to support the vulnerable people who watch and appear on his show. He is a disgrace.

Watching that, I felt so sorry for the mother. She must have been in a desperate situation at the time to have made the choices she did.

He gets good ratings because people enjoy his shows I expect more people enjoyed the episode in question, than complained about it. Bread and circuses.

I used to actually sit and watch his show pretty much daily in my late teens, God knows why because I can't even have it on in the background now. I can't stand the man, he get the most vulnerable, and to an extent the most stupid members of society, puts them on his show for the sole purpose of ridiculing and entertaining the masses, it's just awful the way he speaks to people and when he does the shows with disabled children he just comes across like a slime ball. I don't think I can bear to watch that clip after reading the comments here. The show needs to be banned.

My mother was abused in every way possible by my father throughout the 1970s and 80s. She tried to get away, to get help, but help was extremely limited then. She lived with him for 25 years before she finally got away. She died, completely broken, a couple of years later.

That poor lady on JK could have been my mum, if circumstances had been slightly different. The sadness and anger I felt watching that was overwhelming. Too bloody right I'm complaining.

If people stopped going to watch this drivel, he wouldn't have a show any more.
He would no longer be able to exploit vulnerable people.

This clip is vile. And people are applauding him when he tells the other daughter who challenges him to shut up and he'll speak to her when he's ready! This just goes to further prove how his toxic attitude is influencing others. And the post from Mrs Molesworth ! I can't believe ITV are paying this man. Disgraceful .

I would love to see this series of plays but because ITV wont pay AB his rightful due that wont happen.

But they are happy to pay JK pay off Peter Andre and commision all sorts of reality tv as well as damaging crap like these so called chat shows.

I feel too angry to write a coherent complaint, I am trying to calm down so I can, thank you to all those who have done so already.

I'm so afraid that I will say the wrong thing and it won't be enough and he'll continue to get away with this.

I feel like if I saw him right now I would find it very hard not to let rip.

I've just complained. I've met a woman before who appeared on JK with her abusive partner, and she told me that the appearance exacerbated the abuse. She was young and vulnerable, and I think genuinely thought they would get some help. They were promised ongoing counselling together (in itself dangerous) but it never materialised.
