To think JK should be raked over the coals for this ( triggering D & V content)

This letter of complaint was brought to my attention today.

As I rule I do not watch Jeremy Kyle as I find the man vile however his treatment of this women was disgusting and I think his show should be axed.
The author urges anyone else who feel as strongly as she does to complain to ITV, I will be sending my e-mail today.

The man is a total utter cunt. Its hard to believe that this sort of damaging message is available for public consumption so early, well it isnt hard to believe but you know what i mean.

I watched the clip linked above and even that is utterly disgraceful - not least because he won't let the mother answer anything and constantly interrupts her. His treatment of the second daughter trying to stop his verbal abuse of her mother (I'll talk to you when I want to) is as bad.

This is actually really shocking; he's overstepped the mark by a long way. It would be a great thing if this thread highlighted this problem.

It is utterly appalling.

My personal view is that many do not consider that rape in marriage takes place and that keeping a woman pregnant is an act of control.

A friend of mine highlighted it to me earlier today so I watched the show.

I think I called him a vile man about 50 times on the phone when I made the complaint.

I've just watched that clip, it's awful. That poor woman, and the way he spoke to the other daughter too! I had the misfortune of being in the audience a few years ago, and he was an arrogant twat then.

Never any mention of how JK ran off with another mans wife after he married them for a radio promotion is there?

the husband was very controlling and violent. even threw her pills away so ended up with more children to trap her more i guess. and like its been said was not any support back then. it was shut up and put up.

its a recorded programe lots of people involved and it was allowed to be aired maybe it needed to be aired for us all to see clearly what a prick he is

Even they gut I spoke to at offcom was surprised the show went out given the content. He said it was a serious complaint. The women at ITV was less shocked tbh and said she will send an e-mail to the production team.

I don't know this case but Yes his show is vile and should be axed. I haven't seen it in years but I doubt that it's changed much.

I remember when Trisha Goddard first started. Her show seemed to deal with many issues in a more thoughtful and responsible way. She seemed like an intelligent and empathetic women. Then it changed and became the female version of Kyle, obviously for the ratings. I was quite disappointed in her as I actually thought she had scruples. Wonder how these people actually view themselves (Kyle, Goddard etc) and what they think of their shows?

I doubt any reasonable person who watches this clip would believe anyone making a complaint was a harpie. It is very shocking MrsD and I am happy to be a harpie with you Smile
