Do married couples actually have sex on wedding night?

Ok so not exactly an AIBU question but...

myself (not married) and some unmarried friends are discussing whether couples actually have sex on their wedding night, or are they too drunk/tired/emotional to DTD?

Any insights welcome - we're curious!

We didn't because I started my period the same day . still had a nice snugly night though sleeping.

Nope. Took 2 weeks.
I was poorly on my wedding day. The day before I went to the doctors and told me I had an ear, throat and chest infection. We got married the day after at 3pm. We got to the reception and managed to stay till 9pm. I was taken into hospital about 11:30pm unable to breathe. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and spent the first 4 nights in hospital and when I came out I was so run down and ill that I pretty much slept for a week.
Luckily the honeymoon wasn't for a couple of weeks after. We made up for it though ????

We did.... Took about half hour to get the dress off.. Then the bed was squeaking like god knows what (honeymoon suite top floor.. You'd think they'd fix that) and hubby was highly intoxicated... It definitely was one of those "we should" totally ended up not in the mood lol
