I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous - recently joined and have posted a few times but find it scary Blush .
I thought I was well-educated albeit a young mum, but reading some threads makes me feel scared Apprehensive to post .
I'm being silly aren't I?! Or do I belong on a certain other site instead haha!

Your special snowflakes plays out all day and has tongue sandwiches and lashing of lemonade ....they have never saw an xbox or had a McDs, occasionally they may have artisan bread

redshoeblueshoe · 09/08/2015 22:12

Customise posts. You don't need to read the full thread but at least read all the OP's. There's some very funny stuff on here. You can also get bashed for saying what everyone else is thinking but didn't say.
Wine

I do like a good loo brush thread if I'm completely honest Grin

Mehitabel6 · 09/08/2015 22:14

Very intimidating if you get in the receiving end.
There are lots of topics you need to keep off unless you have a hard hat!

Sparklingbrook · 09/08/2015 22:14

Ooh how about a good primary school lunchbox thread. Sandwich on white, packet of Frazzles and a Penguin. Jobs a good 'un. Except it isn't. Apparently.

ilovesooty · 09/08/2015 22:15

Me too Maryz Grin

Mehitabel6 · 09/08/2015 22:15

Of course, if you just agree with the loudest majority there is no problem. Smile

Ledkr · 09/08/2015 22:17

Come to think of it, I've not seen a good "formula feed is poison" thread for a wee while.

Ledkr · 09/08/2015 22:18

True meh just have a look then jump in with the majority opinion and join in with the kicking.

Christinayanglah · 09/08/2015 22:19

Stealth boasting and LTB

CrystalMcPistol · 09/08/2015 22:20

Make sure you let people know that you prayed your baby would be a ginger baby.

'Tis the MN law.

redshoeblueshoe · 09/08/2015 22:20

Did anybody mention parking ? Grin [grin Grin

ItsAFuckery · 09/08/2015 22:22

My only advice op is: gin. Lots and lots of gin. Grin

CrystalMcPistol · 09/08/2015 22:24

And whatever you do don't be too entitled.

Expecting people to remember your birthday? Entitled.
Expecting your wealthy parents to help you out during a hardship? Entitled.
Expecting someone to hold a door open for you when your're carrying 27 bags and balancing a yak on your head? Entitled.

Mehitabel6 · 09/08/2015 22:25

Keep off AIBU
Never comment on the breast/formula feeding
Keep off relationship boards
Keep off Home Education unless you think it wonderful and anyone can do it.
Keep off anything to do with feminism
Keep off anything to do with religion
What has surprised me, because I don't have one, is never go into 'In the dog house' - who would think dogs could cause such problems?

Welcome OP Thanks
AIBU can be a scary place full of bullies but not always.
Mind you, I once started a thread about a man in a white van harassing me at a petrol pump, he purposely nudged my bumper with his van and was shouting expletives.
One MNer said I was 'classist' because I called him white van man. But he was a man in a white van Confused
Sometimes you have to just laugh and give up. You cant please everyone.

SenecaFalls · 09/08/2015 22:28

My favorite threads are ones on the British class system. For those of us not from the UK, it can be very enlightening and always entertaining. Also the related ones that complain of the nanny teaching the offspring to say Ta or Pardon.

CrystalMcPistol · 09/08/2015 22:31

Important question OP, where do you stand on the matter of one Mr Peter Andre?

Christinayanglah · 09/08/2015 22:33

Have you got a good strong pair of judgey pants for hoicking?

CrystalMcPistol · 09/08/2015 22:33

Oh yes, What V Pardon is always a vigorous one.

And also, people who are happy to say 'fart' V people who are appalled to ever read the word.

Sparklingbrook · 09/08/2015 22:35

Oh yes

Orange Klaxon-will be a thread about Peter Andre aka The Oily Orange
Sporn Klaxon-pussy boils being squeezed

Christinayanglah · 09/08/2015 22:36

Did you mean to be so rude?

Never pour out your heart in an OP unless you write in paragraphs. You can tell the saddest story and someone will say 'I can't read it if you can't be bothered to put paragraphs'!
