I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous - recently joined and have posted a few times but find it scary .
I thought I was well-educated albeit a young mum, but reading some threads makes me feel scared Apprehensive to post .
I'm being silly aren't I?! Or do I belong on a certain other site instead haha!

Everyone else - I am reading it all, didn't expect so many replies and can't see much on my phone - would take me a long time time I don't have to reply to everyone and find the names then message in one reply box. If that makes any sense? I feel such a dork

ICantthink - MN moves at the speed of light, far too difficult to reply to each post individually.

It is nice, however, if people who come on to ask about specifics EG: nice hotel in Bolton, make the effort to come back & say a general thanks to those who bothered to reply.

Definitely get stuck in. I've been around for years and years and am mostly ignored because I don't post much. I think you have to really throw yourself in to get the most out of it. And if you can help it try not to namechange too often. It's easier to become part of the community if people know who you are.

Do read the thread though, I would advise anyone that if you want to comment than at least read the thread first.

Don't expect a reply. and don't be surprised if someone says exactly what you said after you said it but the OP only noticed the other one.
