Someone just told me to use the calendar on my PC, instead of poring over stationary websites to choose a nice new desk planner to write my work stuff in?

Why is Stationary called Stationary? I may need to write a letter on bonded paper with a fountain pen containing green ink to those gifted chaps at Goggle.

You might want to consider using your stationery to write about stationary stationery.

Stationers sold books and paper from a 'stationary' shop, unlike travelling pedlars. They therefore sold 'stationery', like grocers sell 'grocery'.

I.e. they sold stationery in a stationary shop that didn't move.

Seeing as I too am on the hunt for that Magical Stationary Item, perhaps we should start a group. And share when we find evidence of it. You know, a bit like a Sasquatch hunter group?

I love stationery. I did try once, to use the computer/laptop/tablet. I was trying to 'declutter' and be 'minimalist'. I am still decluttered. It took this time to realise that stationery is NOT CLUTTER!

Dd (10) has just spent her entire savings on a smiggle order, she is addicted to stationery.

I have one of the school diaries (one of the diaries that has all the school info in rather) My boss suggested that I use an online one synced with slt. After a week I went back to my page a day. I annoy myself though, I start every year doing everything neatly in pencil (in case of alteration) or colour coded. By the end of first term it's all gone to pot and is a complete mess. People will insist on changing their minds.

My DCs and friends are all Smiggle crazy too.
