To wonder how many cover ups there are and what we're not being told?

I've never really believed in conspiracy theories and thought people who thought there is any kind of truth in them were a bit odd/strange, but since the whole Jimmy Savile thing Im finding myself wondering more and more about what we're not being told things. Years ago I used to post on another forum and people on there were always hinting that Savile was a pervert and then the moderators would come along and ban people for libel and posts would get removed, but it turns out it was all true.

Now today I've just watched an Australian current affairs show attempting to expose a pedophile ring at the very heart of the British establishment, why aren't the UK media doing this? I feel so disturbed. What aren't we being told?

Sansarya - I'm sure there are those who have evidence that are diligently trying to put pressure on but I guess that it is a tangled web and invokes great personal risk. I suppose we can all do our bit by keeping threads like this going so that the sound of the victims voices is not drowned out by the bullshit we are fed by the mainstream media.

Tuskerfull - I agree that there is a lot of sloppy thinking and spurious conclusions all over the internet. I know that peoples knee jerk reactions to Satanism and occult shenanigans is to dismiss it outright but I think it is dangerous to rule it out just because some people are hard of thinking.

Anyway, I worked for someone who was 'upper class' and he told me that he had been raped and had taken part in dark rituals that included (at the very least) the torturing of other children at a Catholic boarding school.

Huge cover up over the children abused in Orkney imo, sadly met some of the individuals involved and the police officer in charge with the case in Jersey was incensed when he was made to close down the case, then promptly retired from the force afterwards. No suggestion that he was involved in any way other than investigating it.

There was well known"gossip" in Scottish mental health staff in the 80's & 90's about MP's and judges amongst others who ran a paedophile ring. There has been plenty of press coverage over the years but no one apart from NF outed.

Just like a lot of the claims on this thread, there isn't any evidence for these claims and plenty of evidence to the contrary. It was the product of a single social worker utter fixated on finding satanic abuse where it didn't exist and her practice was so utterly unethical and manipulative of the children that she interviewed to make it fit her own agenda.

All this was played out in court, but hey what's that in the face of a bit of intuition?

The stories about Anthony Kidman are apparently also linked to one or two former Australian PMs. Whether they're still living or not I'm not sure.

To be fair, those beaches are very, very dangerous indeed with very strong currents /rips. I learnt to scuba dive in and around Port Phillip Bay and was a member of a dive club there. I can remember one weekend in the whole year it was safe to dive those back beaches.

Yes, it doesn't appear to be suspicious having read the details. It just came into my head having read the other comments about Australia up thread. It seems unthinkable that a PM could drown like that.

The problem is, if you have ever worked in, say, government, and say, 'but, people, it isn't like that...' you're accused of being part of the Borg.

I have worked in government, at both the local and national levels; a friend of mine is often involved in care proceedings; I know a lot of people who are local councillors etc; I even encountered the odd MP. I go for the 'cock-up' rather than the 'conspiracy' mode of explanation.
