I've never really believed in conspiracy theories and thought people who thought there is any kind of truth in them were a bit odd/strange, but since the whole Jimmy Savile thing Im finding myself wondering more and more about what we're not being told things. Years ago I used to post on another forum and people on there were always hinting that Savile was a pervert and then the moderators would come along and ban people for libel and posts would get removed, but it turns out it was all true.

Now today I've just watched an Australian current affairs show attempting to expose a pedophile ring at the very heart of the British establishment, why aren't the UK media doing this? I feel so disturbed. What aren't we being told?

I think seeing these things as 'conspiracy theories' is a mistake, as it plays into the 'tin-hate wearing freak' fallacy that is used to discredit anyone who dares to question the status quo. These things aren't conspiracy theories; they are rightful suspicions agains the establishment.

It is one of the crowning glories of both the anti-'conspiracy' movement and the anti-feminist movement (both of which favour the current patriarchal / old-boys set up) to turn the movements they rail against into mockeries: the stereotype of the crazy, irrational conspiracy theorist is just as entrenched as the militant, shaven-haired man-hating feminist.

We are constantly fed untruths and misinformation.

We always need an enemy to fear, so it used to be Communism, then Iraq and now ISIS.

It has now come to light that the IRA and UDR were both infiltrated by M15.
Those spies people were large scale murderers funded by our government.

One written by a Portuguese police officer is banned from sale, though is available by post from the USA.

There is a lot we don't know. The factory farming in the UK for one. Grim.

I've really seen the royals in a new light since the savile scandal. How did a working class miner get to counsel the future king and his queen on the state of their marriage.

What about kincora and the haute de la Garonne in jersey children's home in jersey. Will those poor people ever get justice? Just google it. There's loads on there. I read a young boys account of it and it was heartbreaking. Bill Maloney's sister was there. He did a film of it.

Then there's Cyril Smith coverup. There's loads. Once you scratch the surface you find such a horrible stinking cess pit.
I could go on and on but you need a strong stomach to cope with it. One day it will all come out and the innocents will get justice.

The Lockerbie bomber's release was to stop the appeal hearing which would have revealed more than the UK/us establishment wanted out about the attack.

Even the relatives don't believe the official story.

The Willie McRae car crash/supposed suicide reads like a really poor attempt at a cover up and has been more recently linked to child sexual abuse.

It wouldn't surprise me if Jill Dando's death was connected to Savile et al.

Well yes Jill Dando was also a close friend of a very well know pop singer who's name I wont mention because it will mean this thread is closed, but Im sure we all know who Im talking about. The story goes that she found out he wsays involved in dodgy activity and was about to expose it.

I know the family of the man who was accused and convicted (and later had the conviction over turned). There was far more to it.

What's more annoying is the Crime and Investigation channel kept showing the programme about her murder. Which details his life and all the reasons they said he was guilty. With just a note at the end mentioning that it turned out he didn't do it.

His life shouldnt be laid out like that.

Loads of knew and helped Jimmy Saville. What bothers me more was that the council finally gave permission for a kids playground when JS gave the project support. It was viewable from his flat in Leeds. The authorities knew he was dangerous and just allowed it to happen.

It all stinks. Savile got away with what he did - in full sight - because he knew what all those establishment figures were doing. We're only ever told what the establishment wants us to be told.

Children have been abused, raped, tortured and murdered for the entertainment/sexual thrills of some very influential people. If this was happening 20, 30, 50 years ago, then it's also happening now.

The Sun (and others) have masses of stuff that they don't release - they hang onto incriminating evidence to help them get access / exclusives, etc and release at specific times for their own reasons.

The story that springs to my mind when I saw this thread was Dr David Kelly. I was quite young when it happened so my memory of the story is hazy, but he was found with his wrists slit but the way they were slit would have been impossible for him to do himself.

Thank you, Pax, a couple of months ago there was a new ruling banning it from sale so I'm not sure you can get it any more - I have had a good root around online. (part of what was widely reported as 'libel' case which wasn't libel at all iykwim)

I'll keep trying I know there was a translation somewhere, I read a bit of it a couple of years back. Wish I had bought it then

Yes, I literally felt a cold hand clutch my heart when I heard the news about David Kelly. I think many of us did.
