Yes! Grin Which song?

MaxPepsi · 24/06/2015 14:05

Depends on the song Grin

Have you got your dog on the seat behind, head sticking out the window and ears flapping in the wind too??

Denimwithdenim00 · 24/06/2015 14:06

Totally.

formidable · 24/06/2015 14:08

Yes!

The song has to be How Bizarre by OMC :)

LazyLouLou · 24/06/2015 14:08

Yes. And I even to put the top down Grin

I have whole tapes CDs devoted to 'car songs'.

Up loud, sing along, smile Smile

Pedestriana · 24/06/2015 14:09

Depends what the song is. If you drove past me with 'blurred lines' blaring out, I'd be hoiking my judgy pants up.

DragonWithAGirlTattoo · 24/06/2015 14:09

Not if i am sitting in traffic next to you its not - theres nothing worse (well there is ofc) than sitting next to some muppet that thumping away on their bass inflicting their choice of music on me

Or if you are driving past my house, no, i dont want to hear thanks

haveabreakhaveakitkat · 24/06/2015 14:10

Ones my remember on my 25 minute drive home:

Nicole Shitsinger - Stronger
John Legend - All of you
ELO - Mr Blue Sky
Madonna - Vogue
Taylor Swift - Style

(Bloody love Taylor Swift - and I'm the wrong side of 40!)

No dog. No kids. Just me. Lovely Smile

Definitely, nothing better. Alternating between P!nk and Fleetwood Mac at the moment

coffeeisnectar · 24/06/2015 14:13

The best. Unless you've got kids in the back squabbling :o

Walking on sunshine is a great song.

haveabreakhaveakitkat · 24/06/2015 14:13

Maroon 5 Sugar has just come on the radio, tempted to dive back in the car and drive along to itSmile

its one of my joys in life

especially driving fast down country lanes and pretending I'm on Top gear (but keeping to all speed restrictions and rules of the road)

I only do it when I am alone in the car and I have a special track list on my ipod expecially for this purpose

CordeliaFoxx · 24/06/2015 14:14

If the kids are squabbling I just turn it louder to drown them out!

CrystalHaze · 24/06/2015 14:15

Mr Blue Sky is the greatest summer song of EVAH!

coffeeisnectar · 24/06/2015 14:15

Or the beach boys :o. I have that cd in my car so every time we head to the beach I can put it on.

Straight after school we are all heading down with the kids and picnics.

haveabreakhaveakitkat · 24/06/2015 14:20

I need to do a 'driving cd'. I'm constantly switching channels. Isle of Wight radio and Wave105 usually come up trumps though!

Near the sea here too. Picnic sounds good but have clubs etc.. maybe we should skive off tonight!

My 4 year old DD demands the roof down on my car when it's sunny, and turns the music up! I've no idea where she's picked it up from Confused

coffeeisnectar · 24/06/2015 14:28

It's tempting when it's nice to just drop everything and go to the beach. Roll on the school holidays!

Hexiegone · 24/06/2015 14:32
Smile
Hexiegone · 24/06/2015 14:34

Does he really do that 'hay' in one breath? Shock

LazyLouLou · 24/06/2015 14:39

Going Down to Liverpool - The Bangles
Chicken Payback - The Bees
Hey Ya! - Outkast
Rehab - Amy Winehouse
Chelsea Dagger - The Fratellis
You Will You Wont - The Zutons
Man I Hate Your Band - Little Man Tate
Horace Wimp - ELO

Oh there are so many.... all with bingly bangly beats that can be heard over the engine and wind noise.

Maybe I will make up a new playlist so I can now type

I have car tape CD Playlists Smile

haveabreakhaveakitkat · 24/06/2015 15:47

I'm easily pleased. Any old music will do, just not slow boring ones for driving. Some of the Whitney classics are great. Any 80's stuff. Hairspray soundtrack. Anything :-)

I am with Dragon. I hate witnessing this and would not dream of annoying passers-by and other drivers this way. Behaviour of dickheads IMHO.

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/06/2015 15:57

I had Bohemian Rhapsody on yesterday. Veeeerrrryyy tempted to do the Wayne's World 'bit'.

LotusLight · 24/06/2015 15:58

It's anti social presumably (unless it's a Bach organ concerto in which case I might allow it).....
