It would have to be reggae or opera Grin

LazyLouLou · 24/06/2015 16:01

Well...

There ain't no cure for the Summer Time Scrooge Smile

Some people just love pouring cold water. Nasty and mean....

PartyFops · 24/06/2015 16:06

Got to be the long play version of Sidney Youngblood - if only I could!

Perfection GrinGrin

Phil Collins - Easy Lover: Possibly one of the best songs ever recorded.

If you're driving along you don't disturb passers-by for terribly long - a matter of seconds at most.

The Avenue Q soundtrack is a delight.

mrsterrypratchett very hard not to do that!

Rattitude, as one of these so described Dickheads, you want to try and live a little ????

BettyBitesBums · 24/06/2015 16:18

Don Henley - Boys of Summer

Rattitude · 24/06/2015 16:20

I am quite capable of living a little without being a nuisance to others.

Tinklewinkle · 24/06/2015 16:27

YANBU!

I have a convertible which, on the three days a year I can actually put the roof down, makes my drive home one of my favourite things. I'm by the sea too and my route takes me along a lovely, quiet coastal road

DH told me I was a massive poser the other day. I don't care!!!

Mr Blue Sky. Ultimate sunny day driving music.

derxa · 24/06/2015 17:02

Love this...My favourite is a Paolo Nuttini album. I agree it's annoying to listen to the thump thump thump of others' music but for me it's part of summer.

scrivette · 24/06/2015 17:16

Oh yes I love the feeling.

If I have the roof down though I can't hear the music as the engine is so loud - it's own special kind of music Grin

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 24/06/2015 17:22

You may feel great but you will look like a dick

Bogeyface · 24/06/2015 17:24

Why the misery guts?!

Its music that will be gone from your hearing within seconds, not a drive by shooting!

If I have to pull up for more than a second or so, I always turn it down anyway because I feel a bit of a knob sat there with choons blaring at the traffic lights, but driving along is totally different. It comes and goes in seconds, I dont see the issue.

CordeliaFoxx · 24/06/2015 17:26

Why would anyone care what a random stranger thinks! I sing and dance loud and proud - and don't care who sees!

Bogeyface · 24/06/2015 17:26

You may feel great but you will look like a dick

I would rather feel great than worry about the opinion of a cats bum mouthed joy killer.

ShelaghTurner · 24/06/2015 17:27

Yes yes yes. And tbh if I annoy people for the 0.3 seconds that I'm driving past them it's tough titty. I put up with enough annoyance from other people the other 364 days of the year. This is my only vice although I usually save it for motorways.

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/06/2015 17:39

You may feel great but you will look like a dick I saw a young man doing this the other day. Silly hair, ridiculous car, awful Eminem. He looked really happy and I loved it. He didn't look like a dick, he looked like a joyful young person. Made me want to pinch his cheeks.

More joy in the world, please.

haveabreakhaveakitkat · 24/06/2015 17:42

I turn the radio down driving through built up areas so I can concentrate. Anywhere else, it's turned up when a good song comes on Smile.

Peter Kay's Car Share was brilliant when they were singing along - John Farmham, You're the Voice! Smile

The Shoop Shoop song sung by Cher, (It's in his Kiss) sung as loud as you like. Happy sigh.

Tinklewinkle · 24/06/2015 17:42

You may feel great but you will look like a dick

But "I don't care, I love it"

haveabreakhaveakitkat · 24/06/2015 17:45

Love The Shoop Shoop Song. And Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves

I did it earlier today, roof down listening to xfm and David Bowie's Heroes came on, I whacked the volume up and enjoyed every second until I approached my 13 year old dd's school because apparently it's just not cool.
