I want answers from a Tory supporter to answer how they feel about the sanctions causing people to either starve or commit suicide as they are backing sanctions.

They don't care. They will give them a zero-hours contract 'job' though, so they can enjoy the flexibility of having no money and the constant stress of uncertainty.

I didn't vote for Conservative or Labour. I have to say though that some people have short memories. I remember some very dark times under Labour, and having been involved in the NHS, I think that the rot there started under Labour.

I assume that the vast majority of posters here were not alive in the 1960s and 1970s. Those were not fun times.

What's irritating me about these threads are posters bringing up child benefit. It's free money for having a baby. No one is entitled to it, and they shouldn't be! If it needs to be taken away for the sake of the economy, then so be it.

People need to start taking responsibility for their lifestyle choices... having children!

You do realise you can have a combined family income of £90,000 and still qualify for child benefit...or are these people deemed too poor to procreate?

I don't think you really do want answers, you just want to reassure yourself that Tories are bastards.

There are plenty of books, blogs and articles that will explain Conservative thinking on these issues. It is very easy to find answers. I daresay you disagree with the answers, but that's another thing.
