I bet they don't give a flying monkeys for anyone coming under attack by the Tories. The poor, disabled and tennants.

I have felt close to tears all day because I know what a conservative majority means for so many in this country.

Gosh the Labour drama llamas are out in force today....

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 08/05/2015 19:26

I'm introducing a Tory Voter Thread Bingo Card

  • Melodramatic
  • Stamping Feet
  • Shrieking and Wailing
  • Labour Did It First
  • glass of wine emoticon
  • Childish/Immature
  • reference to devils / evil / hell
  • bone crushingly dull and patronising explanation of democracy
  • confusing the actual right to vote with the nonexistent right not to be criticised
  • gazing vacantly when asked to explain policy
TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 08/05/2015 19:26

Drama Llama! Tick!

It would be funny if it wasn't so catastrophic with people dying under Labour. This illusion that everything was brilliant under Labour and all was well Hmm

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:27

orwellian makes an excellent point - tax the rich, don't make cuts that disproportionately affect the poor.

Well, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. I suspect it will be unpalatable to many though.

AldiQ7 · 08/05/2015 19:30

Maybe people who vote Tory are selfish. Maybe they work for an international company based in the uk, or a company with international clients, and they were worried that under Ed Milliband their companies would get the hell out of the uk, and they would be out of a job?

Selfish bastards.

NRomanoff · 08/05/2015 19:31

Tonde can I join in.

Labour voter bingo card

-selfish
-don't care

  • I'm alright jack voting
-would like all disabled and poor people to die -can't think for themselves -murdoch ran a good campaign -taken in by the media -i have spent all day in tears -I just don't get it -how did it happen, no one i know voted Tory Hmm
NRomanoff · 08/05/2015 19:32

oh an another for the bingo card using Sad as a full stop

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:36

NRomanoff, I don't think you're in a good position to start attacking others people's punctuation. Jeez.

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:37

My point stands, despite my typo Grin.

Mrsmorton · 08/05/2015 19:39

Hahahaha. I don't think you've understood what NRomanoff was saying there wasting ho hum.

Enough already, our democratic system has spoken. fact.

hackmum · 08/05/2015 19:40

All the Tory voters on here who are complaining about melodrama and protesting that of course they really do care, what do they think about the £12bn a year welfare cuts the Tories have said they are going to make? Where do they think those cuts are going to be made? Do they somehow imagine it's possible to make £12bn in cuts without hurting people who are already poor and vulnerable?

NRomanoff · 08/05/2015 19:41

Wasting where am I attacking others punctuation?

Its part of my bingo card, people have being using it all day. i didn't say I had a problem with it....its part of my bingo card.

And I do apologise, my english isn't the best. Unfortunately I am dyslexic and failed to get the right help at school and try the best I can. Funnily enough, I was at school under a Labour government! Shock

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:41

I did, I was just having a pop Grin.

It's the bingo thing - it's a really lame way of silencing any argument by listing lots of (generally valid) arguments from the opposition as part of X bingo.

NRomanoff · 08/05/2015 19:42

Hahahaha. I don't think you've understood what NRomanoff was saying there wasting ho hum.

I am glad someone did Grin Grin Grin

Abloodybigholeintheground · 08/05/2015 19:42

Bingo...

-poor and vulnerable

How many times have I read/heard that phrase today?! Confused

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:42

Cross-post Smile, oh God, it was all just a silly joke

NRomanoff · 08/05/2015 19:43

But its ok for tonde to do it for the Tory Voters on here?? Sounds about right?

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:45

No, I think no-one should do it SmileGrin. Sorry, I'm doing two things at once, both badly.

NRomanoff · 08/05/2015 19:46

Wasting

TBH I hate the bingo shit as well Grin I was just trying to prove a point it can work both ways. Grin

peggyundercrackers · 08/05/2015 19:46

The Labour Party will be happy now because they can keep employing lots of people on zero hours contracts... I guess someone has to represent them :)

WastingMyYoungYears · 08/05/2015 19:47

NRomanoff GrinSmile.

I'm off to do the other thing better.

Rinkydinkypink · 08/05/2015 20:04

I voted Tory. I'm not Tory. I knowingly signed myself up for 5 years of personal financial shafting and probably making the area I live in (North) significantly worse initially. I did it in the hope to not have a labour government. I did it hoping the next 5 years will secure my dc's future, increase jobs/manufacturing/private business in 5-10 years and train up our young people while giving those who think the country owes them something for nothing a rough ride.

I completely agree the country should look after its sick and disabled but I will not support those who are frankly down right lazy and have no work ethic. It is these people that take away from social care.

The last Labour government began the problems in the NHS. It sold off our national assets. It borrowed a ridiculous amount of money at a horrific interest rate. It didn't hang on to British industry and manufacturing. It wasted so much money it was disgusting. It was this wasted money that should have gone directly into social care and community support. It didn't!

Until Labour radically change I will not give them my vote.

MrsCs · 08/05/2015 21:02

MN has made me sad today. I didn't vote Tory or Labour, went for Green, while my friends went for a number of options. A lot of us had differing views, miles apart, and yet we've been able to discuss it without the ridiculous behaviour on here. It's a democracy, make your choice and respect that others are free to disagree.

troubleinstore · 08/05/2015 21:05

34% of the population didn't vote at all...I don't see you mentioning them being as bad as the Tories...in fact if this 34% voted against the tories they might have saved the 1 million you talk about...and i bet your bottom dollar some of the 1 million you talk about are part of the 34% who didn't vote.... just sayin...
