I don't fit in. I'm old (55), Scottish, sent my DC to private school, not feminist, vaguely right wing, love my DH of 28 years, love red meat, etc. etc. Although I do love Mumsnet. What can I do?

I couldn't be a vegetarian. I'd cave in every time I smelled bacon cooking. Is there a nicer cooking smell than bacon?

usualsuspect333 · 25/04/2015 12:19

I've been called far worse.

derxa · 25/04/2015 12:24

Yes usual. I could have been called a 'special snowflake'.

Do you have a head and fingers to type with?

Then you fit in.

Brains are optional.

SunnyBaudelaire · 25/04/2015 14:13

well I have been told I 'have the face of Satan'

WindMeUpAndLetMeGo · 25/04/2015 14:17

I've been accused of being a teenage boy, a man and stupid!

Sparklingbrook · 25/04/2015 14:19

I was accused of being 'chippy' once. In the chippy maybe, but I am not generally chippy by nature.

I also got told I had 'made my point' this week. Which is always nice to know. Grin

OrlandoWoolf · 25/04/2015 14:27

I've been accused of not understanding feminism on here by some feminists. I've also been accused of being a bloody feminist and feminazi on here and on other forums.

derxa · 25/04/2015 14:45

Good to know, Redtooth. Only 'the face of Satan', Sunny. that was reassuring. I don't understand feminism either Orlando.
I'm heading off to the chippy with Sparkling

I didn't call you foolish either. But there you go, that's two now.

My son once commiserated with me about my face. That was a low point.
