I think I might actually quite like him! At least he's not just an overgrown public school boy, and he seems to have a shred of integrity about him. Actually, he's quite huggable really.

Andy burnham would make a good leader. Ed has been a target, but you could argue the media also just paint Cam and Clegg as posh, priviledged etc etc too. I think he came across better last night because the other two were missing! Still dont know who to vote for though. I really don t like any of them much.!

ElleBellyBeeblebrox · 17/04/2015 18:34

I like him, he's real. And he has stayed dignified all the time he's been the butt of many a joke. I believe he is sincere and that he cares.

SpecificOcean · 17/04/2015 18:38

Yanbu I'm voting for Ed.
Mainly worried about the NHS if the Tories get in.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 17/04/2015 18:39

I havent voted since 2001. I like Ed that much, I'm actually going to vote this year.

Sallystyle · 17/04/2015 18:42

Love Ed. Think he is genuine and better than the alternatives.

I also think he is charming looking.

Pyjamaschocolateandwine · 17/04/2015 18:50

See yes a good bloke, a well meaning bloke but a vote for Ed would mean Nicola pulling his strings smd shafting england in the arse. He won't be able to stand up to her.

Disclaimer I am a huge fan of Nicola and think she's fantastic, for Scotland. Quite rightly she will stand up for Scotland and for devolution.

But dhe won't do england any favours.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 17/04/2015 18:53

I do think he looks like he was drawn by the Simpsons cartoonist. Bit that's part of his charm.

HomeHelpMeGawd · 17/04/2015 18:53

I know someone who studied with him on his sabbatical when he taught at Harvard. She was very very impressed with him: charisma, thoughtfulness, principles, everything about him. She also thought he was really attractive.

Teeste · 17/04/2015 18:56

I thought Ed became a lot more human when he smiled and just kept saying 'No' at Cockage. I also don't think Dave has done himself any favours by not showing up or (allegedly) preventing the LibDems from turning up, either.

LotusLight · 17/04/2015 19:02

Are people joking? He's as likeable as a wet fish.

Kampeki · 17/04/2015 19:03

It's really heartening to see so much support for Ed on this thread, despite how much the media hate him.

I have always been a Labour supporter, but I too had doubts as to whether he was the right choice. However, I am growing to like the fact that we get real sincerity rather than media spin. I think he is a decent bloke, with intelligence, vision and integrity. I'd love to see him as PM.

If it weren't for Nicola Sturgeon (who I also admire, even if I don't like her politics), he'd be home and dry by now. Cameron doesn't have a patch on him!

GentlyBenevolent · 17/04/2015 19:06

The media don't 'paont' Cameron and Clegg as posh and privileged. They ARE posh and privilieged. And if anything that is undersold by the media.

Grantaire · 17/04/2015 19:19

I'm a labour voter and labour party member. I've always liked Ed. I'm glad the media veil is lifting.

ragged · 17/04/2015 19:25

The more people pick on Milliband's funny appearance the less his funny appearance matters to me.

EM said something brilliant & impassioned to Farage last night. I'm fairly won over now.

GentlyBenevolent · 17/04/2015 19:28

He doesn't have a funny appearance! He just looks normal. Much more so than Cameron or Clegg.

ElviraCondomine · 17/04/2015 19:28

I like him. He's decent and actually has principles rather than just the desire to be in power.

I am, for the first time ever, considering joining a political party as a result of his approach.

ragged · 17/04/2015 19:29

We'll have to agree to disagree about the funny appearance... Grin. I'm just saying it definitely doesn't matter!!

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 17/04/2015 19:35

I dont think he looks funny. He is rather cute and sweet looking. He just has an unfortunately shaped nose. He looks lovely though.

Monica101 · 17/04/2015 19:37

I'm going to vote for him instead of the Greens. I don't know what's happened but I quite like him now. I've warmed up to his geeky side and I think he'd be a decent PM.

londonrach · 17/04/2015 19:40

He is the reason why i wont vote labour. Hate the guy. He is very slimy. Shocked others like him. Imagine meeting him on a dark night. Would you trust him. Id cross the street. He makes the hairs at the back of my neck stand up. Only two other men have made me feel like that.

dreamingofsun · 17/04/2015 19:41

i find him very irritating. can't stand his accent and lets not forget how he shafted his brother who most people, bar the unions, seemed to think would be a better leader.

londonrach · 17/04/2015 19:42

Forgot to add...shudder..

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 17/04/2015 19:44

I dont get the creepy vibe from him at all. I get it from Farage, he creeps me out so much and DC makes me want to punch that smug face.

ElviraCondomine · 17/04/2015 19:45

How is standing in, and winning, a democratic election 'shafting his brother'? This isn't the Wars of the Roses!

RonaldMcDonald · 17/04/2015 19:47

Let the conservatives 'finish what they've started.....' isn't that what it says on the tv ad and each and every Tory says repeatedly in any given interview..
