To be fed up with healthcare professionals

I just feel so judged. Everyone seems quite set on pointing out my problems but when I ask them for solutions they don't have any then!

Take my family - they are all dead. Now I know that is unusual but I'm hardly going to lie about it am I? But I have to put up with 'really?! No one? No family AT ALL?' It just drives me mad.

Then I keep getting the ninth degree because my marriage recently ended. I just don't feel ready to talk about it. It's still very very painful and raw.

I know it's pathetic but midwife and health visitor and gp just keep conveying I can't do this but I have to!

Obviously I've pissed people off Blush Not the intention and yes sometimes I have to say I can't do something or that something isn't feasible. However I don't do it to every suggestion which is an accusation that has been launched at me here.

If you do end up venturing NW drop me a message and I'll do what I can.

I used to live in that neck of the woods :)

I just want to give you a heads up, not criticise you. The last thing you need is them on your case. They may force a caffcas regarding your stbxh and court proceedings regarding contact. I really hope you sort it Flowers

Underthedeepblueocean · 03/04/2015 22:24

I don't think they will; I think i am pretty much sorted in that area and don't worry, I didn't think you were criticising - I just wanted to clarify that I'm certainly not disengaging with anybody :)

I'm pleased to hear that, though I can understand why you may feel that way.you've got an awful lot on your plate ATM, it must be v hard without any RL support. Don't stop posting on mn, even if it helps you just to bandy ideas about.

Underthedeepblueocean · 03/04/2015 22:36

I think I'd better; it can be addictive and I just hate it when people accuse me of things that I know aren't true. It shouldn't upset me but it does anyway. Obviously the support can be great but I think I am pretty much sorted now and have decided on a way forwards.

Flowers to all.

If you are in Gloucester, there are excellent resources for mothers who are struggling... HomeStart and SecureStart among others, neither of which are linked to social services. All the best, OP.
