To wonder why there has STILL been no donation?

This has probably been done, I know there was a long running thread about this very subject but I can't find it?
So, several months on I see Dax's parents have still not made the promised donation to Ronald McDonald hospice. On March 2nd they updated the Facebook page to say they works be making the donation 'very soon', but still nothing.
Am I the only one thinking they have no intention of donating any money out of the tens of thousands donated to them? That in fact they intend to keep it all and deny the very charity that provided them with so much support in the early weeks of their Childs life?
In fact, I don't think im the only one judging by the comments on the Facebook page.
I think they're hoping it will blow over and if they keep quiet long enough people will forget.

How stupid to block people, don't they realise that it will just make more people take notice when those who've been blocked post on other SM sites.

Unless they donate the money, surely HMRC would see it as taxable income.

Let's hope Dax's self-employed parents put this little lot on their recently completed Tax Returns.

I'm not sure that it will be taxable as they didn't do anything to earn it. If you're given money I'm pretty sure it doesn't come into the tax system but please correct me if that's wrong

It's truly amazing that they have made no donation yet...what else can there be that is holding them up?

My guess is that what's holding them up is that there's no money left to donate.

I've just had a look at the Ronald McDonald FB page, there's a post from someone asking if they've received the donation yet.

That same person had asked about it on the Dax page yesterday when I checked it but his post didn't last long before it was deleted.

Charity donations are a matter of public record so even if they close the page you can always contact RMH and they can tell you how much the donation was.......
