AIBU re McDonalds

I rarely eat McDonalds, maybe a couple of times a year, went into my local one earlier and ordered a quarter pounder, fries and chocolate shake. I was told no shake, so I said ok, strawberry, they said nope, scraping the bottom of the barrel I then said ok, vanilla. They said no.

What the hell is the world coming to? McDONALDS HAVE STOPPED SELLING MILK SHAKES!!!!! Instead they have smoothies made with yogurt which is yuk and the spawn of the devil.

AIBU to say that this is outrageous and to demand our shakes back? I'm off to write my banner for picketing later.

They do still sell them, but their machines often break down.

Or they still sold them the other week anyway.

Machine was probably broken rather than stopped selling them. Ours used to die about twice a week!

Oh, why the hell didn't they guy tell me that then grrr. Now I will have to have another McD next week just to check.

I went the other day and I kid you not, the only drinks available were fanta, coke and oasis?!
No diet coke, 7up, water, milkshakes.
And when did they start doing Oasis?!

Was it still on the menu?

Aren't they seaweed shakes, rather than dairy based?

I went to my local one last week for a breakfast, they had run out of sausage and hashbrowns. He offered me a burger and fries instead

The McFlurry machines are temperamental. Now that is a disaster.

OMG they need to get their act together.

I had a vanilla milkshake on Saturday afternoon at a service station, remembered really liking them. It was vile! So disappointing.

Derek, they still do Fanta here in Staffs. You used to have to ask for 'Fizzy Fanta' as they did a still one as well but DD had a meal the other night with a fizzy fanta!

Sort your fucking supply chain out!

(I work in supply chain so I know far too well about factory fires etc, but seriously, I've never come across an eatery as bad as McD!)

Whereas I'd prefer a McChicken Sandwich, BloodyWoman. Doesn't get stuck in your teeth quite the way toenails do.

I craved McDs milkshakes during pregnancy. Used to have one on the way back from NCT class. Now there's a contradiction! I'd be devastated if they stopped doing them.

YANBU at all, nothing like fries dipped into a chocolate milkshake.

Oh and I knew it wouldn't be long before the "I don't eat that crap" snobs reared their pearl clutchy heads.

I work at McDonald's and milkshakes are very much on the menu( when the machine doesn't break- frequently ) same with mcflurrys.

The amount of abuse we receive over mcflurrys is ridiculous, people will drive to 3 or 4 McDonald's to get one.

A few weeks ago a man came to the drive thru, frantic, had a pregnant wife at home craving a mcflurry and we were the fourth one to not have any.
He said he wasn't going home without one:)

McDonald's is dry arse. Kfc is where its at y'all!
