Neighbour won't give me my parcel!

I've problems with this neighbour before over parking.

She's had a parcel of mine since Wednesday last week and I know she is in but she is refusing to open the door. Wibu if I knocked the door down? It's a present I need to give to someone on Saturday.

If it's parking bitch lady I would indeed contact the police. It's theft.

SauvignonBlanche · 24/03/2015 17:24

Is it that neighbour?

TheCunnyFunt · 24/03/2015 17:26

Last resort, if you're brave enough - enlist NAR, get him to park one side of her and you the other, note through the door - 'will swap you access to your car for my parcel'.

This. Definitely this!

KenAdams · 24/03/2015 17:27

Block her car in so she has to get you to move it and then only agree to do so when she gives you the parcel?

FastWindow · 24/03/2015 17:28

Popcorn indeed. I was going to suggest you pop a note through saying you have an item of post of hers and you'll swap it for yours.
Then hand her whatever free post you have lying around.

Then I remembered ParkingGate... Whatttt is it she's got? High value? Is it of any use to her? Seems to me she is determined to keep it, so you can report it stolen. Just because you know who has it, it's still as nicked as if someone in the postroom appropriated it...

WONAR · 24/03/2015 17:28

OMG

shameless place marking Grin

CunningCat · 24/03/2015 17:30

Surely that's theft? Ring 101 and ask.

ghostyslovesheep · 24/03/2015 17:31

she's a giant twat isn't she - definitely call 101

TrulyTurtles · 24/03/2015 17:36

Has this turned into 'ello ' ello? What with the nites being pisted through the letterbox.
Anyway, don't hog the popcorn.

ahbollocks · 24/03/2015 17:38

Oooooomg im so excited.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 24/03/2015 17:40

What a twat, yes to blocking the tit in until you get your parcel.

MinceSpy · 24/03/2015 17:41

I'd contact the delivery company/post office to confirm delivery and tell them she is withholding the parcel.
Then I would ring police on 101 and report the theft, this woman has issues and it's not going to get any better.

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 24/03/2015 17:45

Wow! It's THAT neighbour AGAIN!! Shock

I vote for holding the doorbell down until she opens the door. Or blocking her car in again!

Bogeyface · 24/03/2015 17:46

Dont bother with notes, just call 101. She will ignore a note so you might as well not bother wasting your time.

Nannyplum2015 · 24/03/2015 17:49

The postman always comes at school run times so I can't ask him. I've reported it to the company today so I may get a refund. It's a jumper, I'm not going to force her to give it to me but it's so annoying! 100% sure she's in as I saw her walk into her house. I knocked 2 mins after ahe got in and again half an hour later and no answer.

Thank you, thank you, thank you itsnotmeitsyou1. You've got me giggling away at your phone's mad autocorrects. I so needed a good laugh too. Grin

AlpacaLypse · 24/03/2015 17:59

I knew there'd be more from her!

I can't imagine you asked her to look after a parcel for you so I suppose the delivery person knocked on doors until someone answered.

Customer services for the retailer may be helpful here.

Jacana · 24/03/2015 18:00

Certainly for her she thinks it's pay-back time. Yep, her thinkings faulty but through all the car fiasco she wasn't demonstrating Einstein-like tendencies, was she?

But holding on to a parcel she must have agreed to take in for you really doesn't cancel her parking stupidity, does it?

So think of hitting her with a police visit(community police) once you've established the delivery. In fact, don't think of it, bloody do it!

Silly moo.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 24/03/2015 18:22
