Honestly I don't mind these kinds of silly jokes. I just think Clarkson is fukcing offensive and it is time he was pensioned off. Maybe to the south of France, maybe to Corsica, not sure really.

I often find that those who 'take the piss out of everyone' never appear to take the piss out of people like themselves i.e white, middle/upper middle class, heterosexual, non religious men like themselves. Why is that? I don't think I know many or any jokes about this particular community.

Clarkson can be a prat, but I like the show. It's one of the few things we can watch as a family that we all like (and I am not interested in cars, I just like their adventures). More seriously our licence money has been spent at vast expense to produce 3 shows we might not now see. And talking of the BBC don't even get me started on whether they should sack Rona Whithead....

Due to this and another post ive signed to keep clarkson! Wasnt going to get involved but the world would be a darker place without him! Thanks op for making me do that!

Everyone around him must feel like they matter less and less. BBC at it's best if he did wrong and they keep him. As for being snapped up by some other company well

Or the "other people" might feel happy they are working on one of the most profitable tv programs worldwide and be pretty pissed off by the kangaroo court that seems to be in play that could well mean they are out of a job.

I like him. I like Top Gear and I also liked Allo Allo in its day.

Don't mind parroting the odd bit of nonsense. I said I like him. I like the whole show and the way it is presented. I didn't say I thought he was great and never puts a foot wrong. He does, he can be a twat, but I just watch from afar and will continue to do so.

I like to take much of what is written and broadcast in the media with a pinch of salt. I certainly wouldn't sign petitions asking for sackings on the basis of it. Evidence is needed first.
