I'm Jewish, my grandfather Jewish jokes. We all laughed. Making jokes is not the same thing as racial hatred. I've been on the end of both and would be happy, on another thread to explain how that made me feel and how I could tell the difference.

It's subjective, humour. I absolutely accept you don't get Clarkson's brand, but I think some of you are a little bit over-invested in your hatred of him.

I've seen JC's type of behaviour before and wouldn't be surprised if he is sacked that a lot of stories about his behaviour that have probably been covered up because he's a cash cow come to light. If he's not on charlie (and serious amounts of booze) I'll eat my hat, he just has that look about him.
