Text convo with a friend this morning. Said I'd watched Serenity again last night party animal here. She said she couldn't believe I could watch that film so often.

Come on, it's not possible to overwatch this show, is it?

In one episode of Firefly one survivor of a ship that suffered a Reiver attack was so tramatised that he became a Reiver himself, so I suppose they could "reproduce" in that manner...

I have the Firefly logo on my ankle I'm even having a nerd wedding - one of the tables is called Serenity and the bridesmaids are all wearing brown coats

They've almost got full funding for the whole series. When I pledged it was £1.2m, now it's up to £1.5m and they're after £1.75. Wouldn't be surprised if they hit that by tomorrow.

Restricted myself to a $150 pledge, but I liked the look of some of the more expensive perks. LOL!

Resurrecting this thread as I have finally discovered Firefly after hearing people going on about it for years.

Nothing is getting done in our house. If I'm not watching back to back episodes, I'm gazing longingly at pictures of Nathan Fillion on the internet or moping about because Captain Mal can never be mine.

I'm only halfway through and I almost don't want to watch anymore because I know there are only another 7 episodes and there'll never be anymore.
