Text convo with a friend this morning. Said I'd watched Serenity again last night party animal here. She said she couldn't believe I could watch that film so often.

But... but... It's Captain Tightpants.

Come on, it's not possible to overwatch this show, is it?

How is there Castle/Firefly cross over fanfic?

I know a couple who met because he was wearing a Blue Sun Corporation T-shirt which she commented on, and it was an instant meeting of nerd minds

I may be in the minority but I find Jayne much more attractive than Mal (it's a shame Adam Baldwin is such a tosser in real life)

I get the idea of some cross over fic but... Castle is supposedly the 'real world' and Firefly is sci-fi, that's what is baffling me!

I don't see how a castle/firefly crossover fic would work either unless serenity actually crashes into the police station.

Unless it's a fictional piece that castle is writing and lives in his fantasy. But that wouldn't work as it would be too sad if Mal didn't exist.

I kind of wish I wasn't at work right now so I could dig some out!

I've never got on well with graphic novels, what's Book's backstory end up being? Is it (tries to not be too spoilerful) what most people thought it was, after the character in the Big Damn Movie?

Castle dresses up as Mal for halloween.

It's usually centred around them doing a job for someone, picking up a package and it sends them back in time, or at least the ones I read did
There's a good one set after Serenity that has them all in hiding in Castle's time.

Errrrm…trying not to give to much away. shepherd book's real name isn't Derrial Book. He rose to be quite high in the alliance and then got discharged after a mission and became a shepherd.

Alan Tudyk is the robot character and voice in I, Robot by the way. Which in my opinion is why it's such a good film.
