to think it really isn't possible to watch Serenity/Firefly too many times

Text convo with a friend this morning. Said I'd watched Serenity again last night party animal here. She said she couldn't believe I could watch that film so often.

But... but... It's Captain Tightpants.

Come on, it's not possible to overwatch this show, is it?

I was thinking it might be Callie (which is a beautiful name btw) as is Kara. Though I might be biased as I have a Cal (DS2).

I'd definitely be up for a rewatch.

I hadn't watched Firefly until a year or so back. i was complaining to my mate about Nathan Fillion, and how I didn't get how women raved over him. My best friend pressed the DVDs into my hand and told me to go away and not speak to him until I had watched them.

Well. Now I see. Hoo boy, now I certainly see.

Firefly on all day on Syfy next Saturday. That's my weekend sorted then...

OH MY GOD! I finished Firefly last night and then, in my reeling shock watched Serenity.

I am so sad it's over!!!

I hate the person who recommended them.

Also, today a friend told me to watch the series again but swap the order of the last 3 episodes and apparently it all works better that way.

I'm off to find a copy of The Shepherd comic book.

I also can now empathise with Sheldon in TBBT when he rants about this franchise!!!

The thing I really love about the show is the crew as a little.family, and how you really do understand why they are so loyal to Mal. You.don't always understand that in some shows.

I need to re-watch. But it makes me so sad when I get to the end and there's no more. And then I go and google fan-fic to try and get a fix but it's not the same.

I really really wanted to call DS Anders. DH refused. If we ever have another and it's a girl, Athena is at the top of my list.

There is/was a fan site called Blue Sun Room that had some goodIsh fanfic. Had nearly forgotten how much I love Firefly.

We've only watched it once so far. I'd watch it again though.

DH did suggest Malcolm as a name for DC3 last week...But he'd be a Malky not a Mal up here.

Qwertee has brilliant FireFly tshirts on. DH and I swear at each other in Japanese now and say GORRAM IT a lot.

DH hadn't seen it. As soon as he said it I immediately rectified this injustice by getting the box set out. 2 years ago.

mythicalmorning I am with you Castle and firefly/serenity are equally fab. I very much loved the Halloween episode of Castle where he dressed as Mal briefly. It was like doubley naughty niceness ??

This is freaky, we started watching the tv series in box set a week ago and I'm annoyed at how much I like it! We've just watched the one where they smuggle the cows and river and the Dr get kidnapped... Really enjoying it!!
