Listening to LBC today and lots of people where saying she did nothing racist saying "you guys used to be slaves". I'm glad the police are taking this seriously. Warning offensive video

I can't find anything about the witnesses all agreeing that she said 'don't touch me', just that that's what he claimed, all the articles seem to just go by what is said in the video - do you have a link?

I've often heard the phrase 'chip on your shoulder'. I've know it is the standard phrase for me to stfu if I tackle someone on racism. It's also used to minimise the distress caused by a racist remark because of course you're only upset at whatever vile verbal abuse you've just had because you've got a chip on your shoulder.

I've heard the expression mainly in relation to class and also to people (well men) who aren't very tall.
