to wonder if you're 'faithful' to mn, or do you get your forum fix from anywhere?

Just that really - is this your main forum group? Or do you pick and choose what and where you post? Obviously you're going to ask for specific details about scuba or sky diving on appropriate sites, but for general chat or 'debate' forums, is it all here or do you spread the love/hate? I've only been here a year or two, having started with another baby site, a couple of facebook spin-offs and a couple of sports/holiday sites, but find most of my time is here now. Just being nosy really, faithful or floozy?

Nah, just MN and facebook.

Have recently joined Pintrest but I only look at the pictures. I don't write anything.

southeastastra · 23/01/2015 23:32

i love mn and have tried other sites but always love this one.

WitchWay · 23/01/2015 23:34

I use a doctors' chat forum & Facebook as well (mostly to play Scrabble)

HyperThread · 23/01/2015 23:36

Nah, just MN, I think it's the app and anonymity (and of course the content) that keeps me coming back

BertieBotts · 23/01/2015 23:39

I used to go on a few forums but I keep coming back to MN. The posters are (mostly) funny, intelligent, challenging.

The only time I ever look at other forums now is if they are specialised ones, and even then I get annoyed quite often.

Not that MN never annoys me, it sometimes does, but it seems to happen much less often than other places.

o0 · 23/01/2015 23:42

I've tried lots of other forums but nothing is as good as MN.

But if you know of somewhere good please share!

YackityUnderTheMistletoe · 23/01/2015 23:43

This one mainly, but also a sort of spin off - a game I play has a group feature and a whole lot of us MNers formed a quiche on it, and chat there.

Trinpy · 23/01/2015 23:46

No, I waste enough time on here, there aren't enough hours in the day for other websites.

MrsTerryPratchett · 23/01/2015 23:50

Other forums? Fora? I don't believe it.

ILoveFrogs · 23/01/2015 23:54

I read MN daily, very rarely post on here though... You lot are a scary bunch! Grin

Forums I'm active on are DS and a Crohn's forum and a stoma forum.

ShakesBootyFlabWobbles · 23/01/2015 23:56

I do like a bit of pistonheads news & politics section. Some amazing rumours on there.

BertieBotts · 23/01/2015 23:58

I used to really like B3ta about ten years ago. The question of the week section was great. It's really gone quiet now, though, and the casual sexism bothers me more.

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 23/01/2015 23:59

I like to have a look around digital spy, I don't post often there.

Limer · 24/01/2015 00:02

I'm faithful to MN. Also use FB, read BBC News and the Vatnajokull real-time volcano site but don't get anywhere near enough browsing time as I'd like (would like 24 hrs per day!) so don't post much.

On MN I read lots of Chat and occasionally other threads in Active, just wish I could press "Pause" and read everything else and comment as well.

YouTheCat · 24/01/2015 00:02

Before MN, I was a member of the Bad Mothers Club forum (so much fun but sadly gone now). I dabbled in Bounty but couldn't keep my sarcasm in check with the smug 'my one year old is reading Proust' mob. And now I'm here.

Been here since 2010. Quite like it. Grin

DustWitch · 24/01/2015 00:08

Just here. I popped in to take a look around a few years ago and never left.

AGnu · 24/01/2015 00:13

I'm strictly MN too. I did try a while ago to find a Christian forum I liked because I get fed up of the sky-fairy comments on MN but couldn't get to grips with anywhere!

CaramelPie · 24/01/2015 00:18

Faithful

KentonArcher · 24/01/2015 00:20

Other forums exist??? Confused

TwinkieTwinkle · 24/01/2015 00:34

Love DS but post very rarely. Sometimes seems like cool kids at school, difficult to get in with. Love reading their TV and showbiz threads though, particularly the blind items! ??

ChippingInLatteLover · 24/01/2015 00:37

What are these other places of which you speak?

Who the hell has time for anything else?? [Grin]

Lucked · 24/01/2015 00:50

I am a serial monogamist. This is my third love affair.

AlfieMoonOnaStick · 24/01/2015 00:58

Don't call me a floozy but I'm not too choosy. Daily Mail aint half bad either.

NoMontagues · 24/01/2015 00:59

I used to. There's a good Irish one called boards.ie but some of the men other posters can be a bit aggressive so I'm not so keen anymore.

I also used to go on to a tenants' forum and advise tenants who needed help. My job was a landlord's agent (property manager) so it served as a bit of balance for me to use my skills / knowledge to help the "other camp" as it were.

mrscumberbatch · 24/01/2015 01:00

Another B3tan here. I don't look as often as it seems to be a bit irregular and a lot of the posters are total twats.
