to wonder if you're 'faithful' to mn, or do you get your forum fix from anywhere?

Just that really - is this your main forum group? Or do you pick and choose what and where you post? Obviously you're going to ask for specific details about scuba or sky diving on appropriate sites, but for general chat or 'debate' forums, is it all here or do you spread the love/hate? I've only been here a year or two, having started with another baby site, a couple of facebook spin-offs and a couple of sports/holiday sites, but find most of my time is here now. Just being nosy really, faithful or floozy?

I go on digital spy when I'm bored with MN.

And browse reddit.

usualsuspect333 · 24/01/2015 01:14

I used to have a look on bmc occasionally until I saw someone slagging me off on there Grin

Behooven · 24/01/2015 01:15

This is my main one, but I'm a regular on one other, very specific interest

Heynowbill · 24/01/2015 01:33

I came here when a much more niche forum died a death. I lurk on digital spy now and again but have never posted there. I lurk more than post here, and I name change constantly. The size and popularity of MN actually stops me getting really involved, I worry too much about being recognised. That is somewhat ironic given my openness and the nature of the previous place, but despite the not insignificant downsides I actually made friends there and I can't imagine that ever happening here.

UnderTheDeepBlueSea · 24/01/2015 01:44

I spend equal time between mn and digital spy, I love the soaps, showbiz and music sections on DS.

PoppySausage · 24/01/2015 01:46

I used to use able 2 know which I loved, but just mn now

MrsCakesPrecognition · 24/01/2015 01:48

I am mostly faithful to MN, but occasionally flirt elsewhere. NM for it's local pages; talking about The Archers on FB; 11+ forum (when I feel brave enough).

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 24/01/2015 01:58

I thought about this. If you are counting fb and twitter there will be a lot of mners who dabble in those but they are not really forum. Does pinterest count as forum?

Other than that yes I post on several forum. Mostly topic specific. I like mn but i did manage to virtually completely wean myself of the place. It is actually something I would advise. But my insomnia buddies got none shift work jobs and proper sleep patterns and I got bored so wandered back.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 24/01/2015 02:28

I go on a work forum but otherwise I am a MN whore Grin

wobblyweebles · 24/01/2015 02:46

Nah, I go to a couple of others much more often than here.

PigletJohn · 24/01/2015 03:15

I am active on a building-related forum, where I am also a moderator and receive a modest honorarium. I used to be very active on a motorcycle club site, which was very sociable, but have stopped biking now due to injuries. I now use a couple of one-make car forums, but get few problems so seldom need to ask advice, and there are not many problems I have experience of to share with others. I am on a few technical and trade forums but very seldom use them. I have different usernames to confuse stalkers.

ZingTheGreat · 24/01/2015 04:07

I'm not on AssFace or Twatter

MN, Hay Day and Pinterest combined waste plenty of my time provide enough entertainment

DecaffCoffeeAndRollupsPlease · 24/01/2015 05:29

DS mostly, followed by here.

MalibuStacy · 24/01/2015 05:42

Nope. Only MN. I do, however, desperately miss the Handbag forum c. 10 years ago. It was great! I had a few friends on there, too. In fact, I spent most of my time on there.

Unfortunately, they changed the format and everyone left Sad

Asleeponasunbeam · 24/01/2015 06:33

I used to use the TES forum until it changed and became completely unusable. I stopped teaching for a while too.

ArmyDad · 24/01/2015 06:41

I'm on here and ARRSE.

Eminybob · 24/01/2015 06:56

Only mn. I recently tried to join a baby led weaning one, because I was sick of people banging on about purees on threads specifically about BLW, but I couldn't register for some reason. I was supposed to receive some confirmation email to complete registration which never arrived. Twice Hmm

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 24/01/2015 06:58

Here and ARRSE. Interesting combination there

ArmyDad · 24/01/2015 07:34

Interesting how? I'm a dad and a soldier

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 24/01/2015 07:49

Just they are polar opposites from what I have heard

Valsoldknickers · 24/01/2015 07:55

Just Mumsnet. No Twitter or Facebook for me either. Although I'm off now to Google Digital Spy!

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 24/01/2015 07:59

Just mn, I work and this is enough for me evenings and weekends.

meglet · 24/01/2015 08:04

only MN although I've peeked at piston-heads a few times.

dip in and out of Facebook, spend too much time on twitter and now I've got into pinterest.

tumbletumble · 24/01/2015 08:05

Just MN and FB (but not Twitter) for me. I've been here for about 4 years now.

ArmyDad · 24/01/2015 08:08

Judging by what you've heard seems somewhat narrow minded
