Just that really - is this your main forum group? Or do you pick and choose what and where you post? Obviously you're going to ask for specific details about scuba or sky diving on appropriate sites, but for general chat or 'debate' forums, is it all here or do you spread the love/hate? I've only been here a year or two, having started with another baby site, a couple of facebook spin-offs and a couple of sports/holiday sites, but find most of my time is here now. Just being nosy really, faithful or floozy?

I used to like ivillage back in the day and yahoo chat but chat disappeared and they changed ivillage into a totally unusable format and killed it stone dead Sad

ispentitwithyou · 24/01/2015 21:04

People tell me life is the thing...

I prefer to Mumsnet.

MaybeDoctor · 24/01/2015 21:27

I started as a handbagger too!

Does anyone remember the 'Shellieshoe' scandal?

bluebump · 24/01/2015 21:42

I used to quite like iVillage too, I was one of the moderators on it for a few years too but left before it changed. Now i'm just on here.

Catypillar · 24/01/2015 22:47

Doctors.net.uk and Practical Fishkeeping

MyNameIsEmily · 24/01/2015 22:55

I use this and Mumdrum its very quiet over there which is a shame as its a lovely site :)

RedCrayons · 24/01/2015 23:12

MSE, though only lurk
Linkedin for some work related stuff
Digital Spy for TV and showbiz stuff. Mostly lurk for the gossip, I haven't posted for years since I got banned for saying an actress in Eastenders was crap. There's a lot of crazies over there who take offence at practically nothing. The Big Brother forum is entertainment in its own right.

Mostly I'm here though.

Tapirbackrider · 24/01/2015 23:18

I divide my online time between a few places - I'm heavily involved in a number of specialised recovery groups, some are on fb, a couple have their own sites and forums.

I'm also on Pinterest, tumblr, and a couple of other places.

PrimalLass · 27/01/2015 13:10

There was a Handbag reunion thread on here a few months ago.

ItsSoooFluffy · 27/01/2015 15:30

Before I found Mn I used to frequent netmums. I occasionally have a browse on netmums but I prefer mumsnet ??

BallsforEarrings · 27/01/2015 15:46

I spend time on some cleaning business owner forums but I have to say i'm keen on MN too now!

itsnotmeitsyou1 · 27/01/2015 15:50

Loved DS, however it's been a while since I was on there. Mumsnet is growing on me, not sure if it's my sort of forum yet, but AIBU has some funny (if unintentionally so) threads that keep me entertained at work.

WrappedInABlankie · 27/01/2015 15:55

I'm gonna admit...

I did have NM, I got banned for a month two days ago for having two warnings in two days for pointing out someone's obviously lies and trolling (think if you don't want to be sexually victimised were a coat) yes that is actually what she said and then said she was being 'helpful' and because someone thought I was rude Hmm

MN is my main forum for the serious stuff, but when I want to browse the lighthearted stuff I NM

WrappedInABlankie · 27/01/2015 15:59

By lighthearted I mean the ones like

"Am I pregnant?

I had unprotected sex last year and I've had 12 periods since then and 365 test which say I'm not but I'm still not sure"

bearleftmonkeyright · 27/01/2015 15:59

I have just disengaged myself from a cycling Facebook group. Every so often a picture of a half naked woman on a bike would appear and anyone who objected was labelled humour less. The administrator didn't care. It does feel like a release to share it on here and I keep coming back.

fortifiedwithtea · 27/01/2015 16:14

Mumsnet is the forum I waste spend most of my time on.

I also go on Rodents with Attitude because I have guinea pigs

and a sport related forum because of my DD2. Prefer not to say which sport.

Enb76 · 27/01/2015 16:27

I used to be only on another site but the misogyny disguised as 'humour' drove me away. Most of the social aspect of it was taken over by twats but I have made RL friendships through it. There is less misogyny here.

lionheart · 27/01/2015 16:37

MN all the way.

WellDidYa · 27/01/2015 16:59

i was on DS but then they banned me for having 2 accounts

i registered twice, kind of by accident as i thought the first one hadnt worked - so tried again with an extra letter. forgot about it, went on one day and was banned! no contact from them, no emails
wouldnt have minded, but i was a contributing member without controversy and no bust ups etc

dont go there at all anymore - they can bite my shiny metal ass

Sallystyle · 27/01/2015 18:17

I go on nm's occasionally but only on the news forum.

I like a few of the posters there who are intelligent and funny but sadly there isn't enough of them. Just had a warning for calling someone a troll. Apparently you can troll and get away with it but if I do anything wrong again I am banned!

Hello wrappedinaBlankie Grin we both got the same warning due to the same person and thread Grin I apparently have to think about my behaviour before I post any more, because calling someone a troll and sharing my opinions on someone who tells someone to wear a coat to avoid cat calls was more worse than her shit!

I also go on another debate website. Joined 10 years ago, it is very quiet now but we all know each other so well so it is lovely.

I also lurk on DS and Talkaboutmarriage.

WrappedInABlankie · 27/01/2015 18:29

HEYYY GrinGrinGrin

I got banned apparently she's not a troll she just thinks differently then others and has a right to post without me "encouraging others to gang up on her" HmmHmm

When I asked why they said "I'm not discussing it with you further" bellends Hmm

imip · 27/01/2015 18:40

Just MN... I was lurking for a long while before I registered 4 years ago.

Other regular sites, FB and bbc news. I have the guardian on my FB site and a local paper, so I suppose I am a regular to those sites via FB.

I don't comment often here, but I do need to wean myself off a little!

Gingergeek · 27/01/2015 18:42

Only signed up here recently and may be a little bit addicted already ha!
But I post fairly regularly on the Dibb and regularly lurk on new media medicine and the student room.
Forum (over)use for me is indirectly proportional to the amount of time I have left til exams :P

BoredomKilledTheCat · 27/01/2015 23:48

Yachting & Boating World forum. Tis ace! Arrrrgh!

Zebda · 27/01/2015 23:56

I occasionally wander over to nms to see what the Huns are up to. The last time was when they were posting pics of the present mountains they'd got their DCs which was grotesque.

Apart from that, just here on the forum front, but try to stick to safe topics and not get involved in any melees which seem a bit too frequent recently. Lots of media and economist/business/politics sites for reading but not posting.

I want to check out arrse though, that sounds intriguing
