I have boy girl twins that are three months old now. Their names are Fox and Dana. I think they're fine names and suit them well but almost everyone smirks or out right laughs when they find out their names.

Um, why? Am I missing something?

Fox (Mulder) and Dana (Scully) are the names of the two main characters in the X Files.
'The truth is out there' is the tag line for the show.

Suggestions:

• Become a MAJOR X Files fan
• nicknames?
• at 3 months old, changing their names is a viable option.

Seriously though OP, Dana is a nice name. If I ever have a daughter her name will be Dana.

They're more than likely laughing at the name Fox or the combination of them both together.
