Just seen the recent pictures and his knees are bare again! OK the socks are pulled up, but I just can't help but think he must be a bit chilly round the legs, poor lamb. I also think they dress him oddly too, I'm all for traditionally non character clothing, but he looks so starchy and uncomfy. If I were them I'd put him in things like these:

Cotton T-shirt Comfy trousers plimsolls

He looks happy, very smiley and relaxed.
I think you are projecting.

KingJoffreysHasABigWhiteBeard · 14/12/2014 17:39

He's a celebrity baby.

Basically an accessory. No one cares if he's cold.

Poor bugger.

fruitloopsandfruitshoots · 14/12/2014 17:39

He looks adorable!!

DustInTheWind · 14/12/2014 17:41

Perhaps stick to judging real life babies on the high street?
You know, where you can glare and tut disapprovingly at the parent and they'll feel shamed?

Moresproutsplease · 14/12/2014 17:42

His clothes will probably be handmade to measure, ditto his shoes.

And he won't be cold, nanny will make sure of that Smile

I love the clothes he's wearing in his latest pictures.

Marmiteandjamislush · 14/12/2014 17:42

Eh, Dust? Confused

MotherOfInsomniacToddlers · 14/12/2014 17:43

I'm guessing this was just for a photo shoot..... I wouldn't judge unless you know anything to the contrary

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 14/12/2014 17:43

He's Big G! Xmas Grin, he doesn't feel the cold, he's a bruiser and looks happy.

Marmiteandjamislush · 14/12/2014 17:47

Is the judging thing an MN thing? Not been here that long. I was just meaning to make an observation on a current issue, not saying they're terrible parents or anything. I never said or intimated that he was unhappy either, just meaning that I think he looks chilly cos I can't stand my legs or arms being uncovered/ cold. Should I get HQ to put lighthearted in the title??!!

Alisvolatpropiis · 14/12/2014 17:47

I don't think he looks cold, no.

Fabulous46 · 14/12/2014 17:50

He looks like he's dressed like any other Royal child. I doubt the photos were taken when it was freezing outside. Give the parents a break!

VixxenPlusAllTheOtherReindeers · 14/12/2014 17:52

They dress him terribly. But that's just my opinion.

fancyanotherfez · 14/12/2014 17:52

i do think he looks like he has the most uncomfortable clothes on, but I don't think he looks cold. They have dressed him like a 1940's show baby.

Lifesalemon · 14/12/2014 17:53

According to what I've just read they were taken at the end of November. I would say November is quite cold to be sat on stone steps in shorts.

furcoatbigknickers · 14/12/2014 17:56

He doesn't look cold but no I wouldn't put shorts on my baby son in November. I love his outfit.

Chwaraeteg · 14/12/2014 17:57

I did think he looked cold in his official Christmas portrait, yes. I love the way they dress him though, he's so cute! I love that chubby 1940's / 1950's baby look.

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 14/12/2014 17:59

If he was cold, I think he would be miserable and crying.

pieceofpurplesky · 14/12/2014 18:06

And he's not in made to measure clothes - cath Kidston tank top and start-rite shoes ....

moxon · 14/12/2014 18:07

I wonder if Kate is on MN...?

Abra1d · 14/12/2014 18:10

He doesn't look cold to me. This autumn has been very mild until recently.

Beangarda · 14/12/2014 18:10

I haven't seen these photos, but based on others, he's a cute child, but the way he is dressed is gruesome - that awful dutiful royal baby 'Little Lord Fauntleroy meets the 1950s Fussy Nanny' look.

Musicaltheatremum · 14/12/2014 18:12

The end of November was really warm in London. I was in my shirt sleeves when I was down there then.

26Point2Miles · 14/12/2014 18:12

Jeez.... Poor kid gets criticised no matter what they do

If he was cold he would be upset,no?? Maybe they had heaters blowing as it's an official photo shoot.... Just like they do do for any other photo shoot

Some dense questions on MN ATM

Sirzy · 14/12/2014 18:13

They are lovely photos and the clothes are lovely clothes and just normal ones not made to measure.

Marmiteandjamislush · 14/12/2014 18:15

No need to be rude 26, I'm far from dense, as I said it was just a comment on what I saw and I've never been on a photo shoot so my knowledge of heaters ect. is clearly not as advanced as yours.
