I would be mortified if dh was uploading videos of me in labour onto Facebook!!! Why would you do that to your wife? Am confused!

I am a major Robbie fan so slighty biased. My opinion is that she knew full well what was going on she must of given consent at some point and im sure at any point she felt uncomfortable she would of had it stopped at some point. The video where hes truing to get her to sing candy with him she did look like she was in a lot of pain and he did get the hint. I think he was just been Robbie tbh shes married to him and already have a daughter so im sure she knows how hyperactive and how much of a joker he is.

I would never let anyone film me in labour or blog it nobody knew I was in labour with mine until id given birth, I know alot who post every little detail and find it a bit odd.

I would rather have had my husband try and entertain me rather than the anxious idiot he turned into in all my labours

Nicknacky · 28/10/2014 09:53

mammant. Over reaction much? How on earth can you get so irate over a celeb posting videos on YouTube?!

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 09:53

Mammanat222 You think he's a knob...yet you still watched the video...

Mammanat222 · 28/10/2014 09:56

I loathe the notion that everything in life is an "opportunity" to create some more publicity and to self promote.

This being an absolute prime example.

I fail to see why this needs to be in the public eye at all?

Maybe I should be more riled that some mainstream programmes / newspapers have decided to carry the story? As if it was just on his Twitter account I'd never have seen it!

You didn't have to see it at all...If I see something in the press that I don't like, I simply don't click on it.

Did someone have a gun to your head? because your reaction at CHOOSING to watch this video is OTT!

Mammanat222 · 28/10/2014 09:57

"Mammanat222 You think he's a knob...yet you still watched the video..."

Saw it on GMTV (or whatever that shit is called these days) so certainly didn't go searching for it

Roussette · 28/10/2014 09:58

I think he's a knob and I still watched the vid because I have no choice, it is all over the news this morning, every time I turn on the flippin' telly, so much as I want to avoid, I can't!

As an aside, she looked beautiful whilst in labour unlike me who was like a spotty sweaty screaming banshee

LadyLuck10 · 28/10/2014 09:59

Mammanat222 you have some serious rage issues if you want to punch people in the face who have nothing to do with you.

Mammanat222 · 28/10/2014 09:59

As I say it was featured on the programme I had on TV this morning, otherwise there is no way I'd have watched it.

TeaAndALemonTart · 28/10/2014 10:00

They were both having a laugh. Good for them.

Roussette · 28/10/2014 10:01

It was on every news programme! There was no getting away from it.

MsVestibule · 28/10/2014 10:05

I've only seen a couple of the videos, but they made me laugh! I genuinely don't get the outrage - a celebrity deciding to film a part of their life that most of us would consider private is hardly new. The videos were supposed to be funny and it's not as if they showed the actual birth (unless I missed that one). I'm taking a wild guess that his wife loves him and shares his sense of humour, so why would we care about it?

TSSpectreDNCOntheParanormal · 28/10/2014 10:11

I'm with you ouch. Also it's the clicks on SM by The Outraged that have given the TV and print media the impetus to post/broadcast.

I can see if you were the type to have a 4 page close-typed birth plan and a husband who wasn't allowed to leave the room during 26 hours of protracted labour you'd not really see the funny side that was intended.

Obviously Ayda isn't that bothered or Rob would be pulling one of those Louboutins out of his arse.

Congratulations To the Williams on your little boy!

SaucyJackOLantern · 28/10/2014 10:16

Your reaction to other people's reactions to the video is OTT different....

He's never gonna dump Ayda for you. Deal with it.

Perfectly honest having literally just given birth (on Friday) for the second time, I could safely say I didn't give two hoots about who was watching! Good on them for bringing a new life into the world and if they want to announce it this way then great. Much better than the blow dried hair, hello magazine style photos you normally see. At least this seems real even if it is staged.

My OH gets verbal diarrhoea when he's nervous and equally would try to do something to distract or entertain me - however ill timed! I'm just grateful my OH didnt think to sing!

championnibbler · 28/10/2014 10:47

This is Robbie Williams we're talking about here, remember. It's not about us. Or his wife. Its always, always, always about him.

3LeetleKeettens · 28/10/2014 11:18

Ayda has a very good sense of humour, she would have been in on it

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 11:25

Oh yes, I forgot you can't turn TVs off or over anymore....I hadn't realised they had been made compulsory viewing.

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 11:34

SaucyJackOLantern

I don't fancy him, nor do I want him to leave his wife for me. Patronising of you to think that the only reason I defend a man is because I want to fucking marry him! Grow up!

I am defending him & his wife's choice to do what they did.

It is pretty disgusting that several people on here think she was somehow pushed into it & think they are warranted to pity her ... it is also pretty condescending to suggest she couldn't/wouldn't consent to this.

Then you have people predicting their divorce, or people wanting to smash his face with a brick!

It says a whole lot more about them than it does about RW & his wife.

KellyElly · 28/10/2014 11:38

Just made me think he even more of a self promoting tool than I already did.

cricketballs · 28/10/2014 11:40

differentnameforthis - love your post

I watched each video as they were released yesterday and thought that it was lovely how they both were coping and having fun

For those of you who are hating; 1. do you really think that she did not consent? 2. this is who he is, the type of person he is - if you don't like that then don't watch but the threats/name calling is beyond playground behaviour

aprilanne · 28/10/2014 11:43

had to laugh at the sparkly high heel as if that was going to happen .lying in bed with your high heel on .my hubby would have been choked but right enough he is such a woos .he was,nt even there sent my mother in lol

MiddletonPink · 28/10/2014 11:44

He's a twat. Always will be.

I mean fancy dancing to your own song?

Not that dancing to any song would have been appropriate given the circumstances but it had to be his own shite didn't it?!
