And then the poor woman gets people looking at the way she gives birth. It's none of our business! Or..really shouldn't be our business

Nicknacky · 28/10/2014 08:23

thebogqueen. Have you seen the clip where they announce the birth? She said they wanted to make people laugh so it wasn't Robbie being videoed without her consent.

It was obviously all a wind up, especially the one where they walk down the corridor and he stops as if in pain and she comforts him.

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 08:23

How does posting it on Facebook help her?! They were sharing with his fans, she was ok with this & in one video, as posted below, she actually takes an active part. The last video they posted she agreed that he was clowning around to help her through labour, give her something to focus on, I guess.

What about THAT don't you get?

I really don't understand why you feel the need to fight her corner. Can't we just see that it worked for her, it's perhaps not what you or I would do, but it is what they do & why not?

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 08:24

What's the thing at his neck?

Hospital ID

Nicknacky · 28/10/2014 08:25

And it's the birth of a baby, not a solemn and somber occasion like a funeral. She can have some fun if she wants! It's a happy event.

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 08:26

What did they have? A boy

Neverbuyheliumbalonz · 28/10/2014 08:26

The outrage on this thread is ridiculous!Isnt it a bit insulting to Ayda Field to just assume that she is so weak in their relationship that Robbie would just post these things without her permission? Of course she is in on it, look at the highly attention seeking video of her dancing.

As an aside, I had no idea she was even pregnant!

CrashDiveOnMingoCity · 28/10/2014 08:27

I cannot believe the media attention this has been getting. I don't find it in the slightly bit 'hilarious' or 'lovely' as some people seem to think. All I think is "egomaniac". I don't feel sorry for either of them, they obviously both consented.

Neverbuyheliumbalonz · 28/10/2014 08:28

Oh just seen the last video as well!

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 08:28

Is it just me that notices that stuff? Nope, but this is in America & they don't seem to have caught onto the way the rest of us give birth!

TheBogQueen · 28/10/2014 08:28

I'm not outraged
It's just an odd thing to do

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 08:29

It was obviously all a wind up, especially the one where they walk down the corridor and he stops as if in pain and she comforts him.

Loved that bit! RW was always the clown, wasn't he...so this really suits him! He wife obviously shares his sense of humour too.

Nicknacky · 28/10/2014 08:32

I'm just surprised that an obviously happy couple, delighted at the forthcoming birth of their child are being criticised so much and one poster even predicting divorce.

I would love to have a relationship like this where you share the events in good humour. She doesn't need anyone's pity.

He is a clown and it's an aspect of him that you either love or hate.

SaucyJackOLantern · 28/10/2014 08:33

I don't feel sorry for her, or think she's some downtrodden wallflower.

I just think it's utterly, disgustingly pathetic that he cannot bear to not be the centre of attention even when his wife is in labour. If there's ever a moment in life to just shut up and focus on your wife then that's it, IMO.

Roussette · 28/10/2014 08:34

God he is a complete pratt isn't he...

I am sure she is totally OK with it but what a shame it seems to be all about him in those vids, he certainly ain't concentrating on her as he's too busy gyrating his hips and making a berk of himself. p.s. his hair looks dodgy, he's had a hair translant and gone back to black. Basically, he just gets on my nerves and what a shame she let him post all these youtube vids.

Piccarcas · 28/10/2014 08:37

Any publicity is good publicity. There will be a Christmas album on the back of this.

flanjabelle · 28/10/2014 08:39

I have always hated him... Every time his music comes on the radio I switch it off. This does not surprise me.

BelleateSebastian · 28/10/2014 09:01

good lord we really are a bunch of vipers aren't we! Confused

Neverbuyheliumbalonz · 28/10/2014 09:38

Does anyone remember when Katie Price was pregnant with Harvey there was a rumour that she was going to film her labour and birth and that everyone was discusted (myself included) as to how anyone could do that at such a sacred time....

Now it seems like you are no one unless your entrance into the world has been documented on some sort of social media.

Indeed when Kourtney Kardshian did it (including the actual moment she pulled her son out of her own fanjo) I don't really remember thinking there was anything untoward about it.

Oh, how far we have come.........

LadyLuck10 · 28/10/2014 09:43

If he's an idiot then she's a bigger one because she chose to have another child with him.
It seems like she was in on it, so as long as they both are enjoying themselves I don't see why all the outrage on here.

Mammanat222 · 28/10/2014 09:47

I don't feel sorry for the wife as she married the knob but I did find myself irrationally angry when I saw the footage.

Who do these people think they are? Why do they think the world wants to see her in labour and listen to him being a prize cunt!!!

I wanted to punch him and then punch her for not throwing him out of the delivery room. He is such a self promoting, self important, irritant of a man.

Labour is all about the woman (and I mean ALL about her) so to see RW using it as an opportunity for a bit of extra publicity pissed me right off this morning

(so much so that I was coming to start my own AIBU thread to ask AIBU to "want to smash Robbie Williams in the face with a brick"

Shock
ouchLegohurts · 28/10/2014 09:48

I think that it's funny...each to their own, she's not bothered, they are obviously very alike and can have a laugh together, even during (shock horror!) childbirth. She's not dying, she's having a baby!

differentnameforthis · 28/10/2014 09:51

SaucyJackOLantern Oh shut up! How patronising!

There is actually a lovely video where he is talking to her in a calm reassuring voice & telling her to breathe. But the media haven't chosen to show that one....
