Last night DH and i hosted a BBQ for newish friends whom we had never hosted before. DH invited a female colleague whom i had never met before. She turned up with her boyfriend but not her bra. She was wearing a thickish cotton white top. You could see the outline of her boobs and nipples if you looked.

After the party i mentioned it to DH. He claimed to not have noticed.

The sticking point though is that this woman is not udder-breasted. That's the crux of it... if she were, she would be patted on the head.

I wouldn't/couldn't wear that - certainly not at a BBQ, too much risk of burning something.

Oh dear. I am old. My breasts are a 34d. I have nipples so obvious that unless i wear a padded t shirt bra if its at all cold, they will be noticable.

My bf and I were going out to dinner on friday night and on the way over to his in the car the wire of my perfectly padded bra was digging into the side of my boob. It was fricking sore so I took my bra off and went to dinner braless.

I dont think bf noticed as he was quite shocked when we were going to bed that I had no bra on.

YANBU to be a bit shocked. I would have judged her for making a social blunder. It wasn't a situation where it would be normal for someone to wear a white t-shirt and no bra. Going clubbing or something would be different.

honestly, whoever you are, don't come to my house indecently dressed. my parents (then in their seventies) were horrified that an official visitor from church brought with her a semi-naked teenager (shorts, small top, no bra) and quite rightly asked them both to leave - ie, they threw them out. so would I.
