No gloating.
No blaming.

Just appreciation for a huge turnout and a peaceful process.

I am getting weary of the Scots saying what they want and don't want. The decision was right, perhaps we can now got back to normal.

Salmond was right to resign, he reminded me of Scargill, personal agenda and stuff the big bad English.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 18:59

His wording was 'what I can only describe as Loyalists'. They may well have taken that expression from NI. It doesn't mean they are terrorists. Just another chance for the media to sensationalise everything.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 19:00

handcream good post.

Annunziata · 19/09/2014 19:00

Thank you clara Flowers

iismum · 19/09/2014 19:01

No one's accusing them of being terrorists! Loyalists aggression is sadly quite common in Glasgow. It's very unlikely they've borrowed the slogan - I think they are actually loyalists.

SapphireMoon · 19/09/2014 19:02

Maybe not terrorists but terrorising...

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 19:03

My apologies I posted without reading. So we do have a crowd linked with NI groups?

Some people will do anything for a fight. I still think using the word Loyalist is very provocative though. That lot are predominantly idiots.

TheBogQueen · 19/09/2014 19:03

It's the unionists celebrating the No vote in George Square with a bit of casual violence.y

This is nationalism. Sad

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 19:06

bogqueen I felt the same seeing the Saltaire used all too frequently in huge parades and gatherings. It cuts both ways. Neither is acceptable.

Luckytwo · 19/09/2014 19:06

Police say it is vocal but peaceful.

TheBogQueen · 19/09/2014 19:09

They may well have come over from NI to celebrate.

Someone is tweeting that one if these thugs stood and saluted a vote engine and said something about it being 'British' and the driver leaned out a shouted 'I voted Yes!'

TheBogQueen · 19/09/2014 19:12

It's not the same. The Yes movement was very different to these British nation it's thugs. You are not comparing like with like.

DaughterDilemma · 19/09/2014 19:12

It was a co-ordinated loyalist charge. Numbskulls.

rainbowinmyroom · 19/09/2014 19:16

Back to normal? Fat chance.

Pumpkinpositive · 19/09/2014 19:17

My train's due back in less than an hour. What are the chances these arseholes will have disbanded by then?

SapphireMoon · 19/09/2014 19:18

This is very sad.
Sectarianism is always scary....

Clarabum · 19/09/2014 19:18

I doubt it pumpkin. Are you going to Queens street?

Clarabum · 19/09/2014 19:19

Sorry 'fire engine' not vote engine.

Fire engine is needed because thugs are now burning the saltire in George square.

Lally112 · 19/09/2014 19:25

actually no, today I am ashamed to be Scottish, for the one and only time ever in my life I am actually ashamed.

Pumpkinpositive · 19/09/2014 19:26

Central, but need to get a taxi in that direction. Obviously taxi driver will now be taking a different route! Have just warned fellow travellers.

Seriously, what sort of mentality sets out to incite a riot when your side fucking won???

I hope the police bring on the water canons. Angry

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/09/2014 19:27

Sectarianism really should have no place. And no, I didn't want the Orange Order march to happen either - I was glad that it went peacefully at least

starwarslegoboy · 19/09/2014 19:28

Well normal Yessers and Noers can unite in the opposition to bigots

Annunziata · 19/09/2014 19:29

The vote is only an excuse for this shower.
