Welcome to indyref 6

Spidergirl8 asked close to end of last thread:

What impact would independence have on fiscal policy and economic stability
What impact would the ageing population have on the future
Is the predicted future a positive one, based on fact

If the bite goes no, what has actually been achieved? Does that not just put Scotland on the back foot?

Let's try and give not too biased answers please!

Scottish referendum, heated airers, steam cleaners, hedgehog and dinosaur cakes and David Gandy. Only on mumsnet on a Saturday night!

OOAOML · 06/09/2014 23:32

Cordelia shall we set up a grassroots leaflet printing campaign? We need a series of 'hot people say vote no' Wink

I actually commented on a heated airer thread the other day, fir a moment I thought there had been some weird merge thing going on.

Better than last Saturday's indyref chat......

squoosh · 06/09/2014 23:34

SantanaLopez · 06/09/2014 23:37

Aye, that god of a man will do that to a woman...

(we're just kidding itsall)

you could swap this to some sort of highland setting, and just put 'Better Together' at the end instead of D&G, we'd be looking at 99% No, I'm telling ya!
WildThong · 06/09/2014 23:39

Unofficial referendum. (Lighthearted, we can get serious again tomorrow)

SantanaLopez · 06/09/2014 23:43

It's a few posts back but I think it extremely unlikely pubs will get special licences to stay open all night during the count. That seems a potential for disaster.

OOAOML · 07/09/2014 00:27

Certainly hope so re pubs. Fully expect people to be gathering with friends etc, but pubs? Maybe not.

StatisticallyChallenged · 07/09/2014 00:29

I really, really hope not re pubs. That could go all kinds of wrong.

"right, see these fucking politicians? They're all havering shite and choosing numbers that suit them. They wouldn't know the truth if it bashed them in their wooden noses. Now, the GERS report from April 2014 shows a simple average over 5 years of the following figures:"

Confused wee sweary book Grin
