To be completely turned off new bloke

Blossombirdy · 29/07/2014 23:37

Started seeing a very nice bloke. Perfect and romantic in every way... except I don't want to have sex with him.

He has hairy balls which are a complete turn off. And on our last date, no 3 btw, he stank so much of BO I had to turn the air con on.

Aibu ti think I should give him the boot or have a gentle word about scrotal etiquette?

Ooh also American Men are prone to a bit of manscaping also.

thisonebreath · 30/07/2014 09:23

DH had a 'moment' once and shaved himself. I laughed. He itched. It looked REALLY odd. In my (extensive in younger years) experience most men don't shave their balls.

Greenwayslide · 30/07/2014 09:24

When I said it is common for men under 30 to shave I was including trimming as well. Basically any alteration to the full 'natural' growth.

PittTheYounger · 30/07/2014 09:25

show TOWIE men so we can laugh

thisonebreath · 30/07/2014 09:27

Although, I'm late 30s so what do I know about anything. I'm glad I'm not single now. Shaving, penis pictures, every detail on internet. Meh.

Latara · 30/07/2014 09:27

Hairy balls no problem.

BO - yuckety yuck.

Trickydecision · 30/07/2014 09:33

Rather disappointing that we seem to be discussing normally hairy balls. When I read the OP's first post I imagined outstandingly furry ones, more like a cat's. But bigger obviously.

Blossombirdy · 30/07/2014 09:42

Gimme one of em shaven Towie blokes anyday!

What do you need them to shave for?

My mind genuinely boggles.

IMHO you are not a real woman until you have plucked a few ball hairs from your teeth.

My DP clippers his balls, from my (not extensive) past experience most ex DPs have too

dawndonnaagain · 30/07/2014 09:54

Yay, it's the school holidays and the sixth formers are bored!

gordyslovesheep · 30/07/2014 10:05

Blimey the school holidays seem to be dragging

Most men don't shave nor do most women

Grow up a little

kentishgirl · 30/07/2014 10:18

'Yes most guys these days shave' - not true.

Personally I've met one man who did, and shaved his pubes too. I made him stop. The stubble rash when we DTD was agony!

PittTheYounger · 30/07/2014 10:19

Most women do. Ohch at clipper ing your balls

Monkeychopsmum · 30/07/2014 10:21

I'm in my early twenties and I have never Been with a guy who shaves his balls, I've known some to trim their pubes but the balls have always been left well alone.

My DP shaved his groin once, he thought I would like it. his regrowth stubble rubbing against my regrowth stubble did not make for a 'full sex life' but besides that Testicles are hideous looking things, the more hair hiding them the better.

WestEast · 30/07/2014 10:24

My DP shaved his armpits once, to see what it felt like apparently. The experience of armpit regrowth has put him off shaving anything else, especially his nads!

Lauren83 · 30/07/2014 10:24

You can't say if most guys do or don't? We only know from our experience (and maybe our friends!)

I think some types of blokes will and some won't, that's just how it goes, if you have a type you might encounter more of one way

Pimpf · 30/07/2014 10:30

Why would anyone want to shag someone that looks like a pre pubescent teen? Hair is completely natural. Whilst I do shave arms and legs and keep my bits tidy, I would never get rid of the whole lot.

And how on earth does being hairless make sex better?

AlleyCat11 · 30/07/2014 10:33

Mine's furry allover. I mean my bloke. Although...

WhyOWhyWouldYou · 30/07/2014 10:51

Lauren i think youve got a point there about some types of blokes being more likely to do it. Ive only heard of two guys who have shaved and they were body building man slags, boasting about how big their cocks looked through shaving (my opinion is if you need to shave to make it look bigger, then it must be rather small).

Every other "normal" bloke i know wouldnt ever shave. The odd one lightly trimms (but judging by the length of their chest hair they probably need to, or itd be nearly as long as their member!)

Also OP have you ever had sex with a proper man (meaning hairy) - its actually better (scientific research to prove it).

Lauren83 · 30/07/2014 10:57

My DP is non of those things but he always has done it, he clippers under his arms too, just for cleanliness and comfort, he is stuck in a suit all day and finds it much fresher having less hair, he doesn't do clean shaven down there he just takes it close with clippers, he doesnt look like a pre pubescent boy nor does he think it makes him look bigger! :)

He does have a very hairy chest and legs that I like he would never shave those I wouldn't let him

I'm aware the men I know do similar

GatoradeMeBitch · 30/07/2014 11:00

WhyOWhy - as I mentioned upthread I had a very hairy partner. The hairy man sex magic did not kick in with him at all I'm afraid. Just as you can't tell if a man will be any good in bed from his shoe size or the way he drives, a hairy back is no indication either - I don't care what those hairy scientists think! Wink

CouldntGiveAMonkeysToss · 30/07/2014 11:05

YABU.

WhyOWhyWouldYou · 30/07/2014 11:06

gatorade obviously it doesnt make a shit man good in bed but there is science showing the hair increases sensation for the woman. So a bloke whose good in bed without hair should feel even better with.
