My child does ha e special needs fanjo he is several autistic non verbal with learning difficulties so I,m not taking the piss.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 19/07/2014 21:32

Well I am surprised you posted that then tbh

x2boys · 19/07/2014 21:33

Severely not several !

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 19/07/2014 21:34

Oh well if you prefer folk to consider your child a brat and not consider SN if he kicks off in public don't let me stop you :)

x2boys · 19/07/2014 21:35

Err what that just because a child is badley behaved he must have special needs sometimes children can just be badley behaved .

scottishmummy · 19/07/2014 21:36

Op pouring her guts out, heartfelt disclosure:oh my eyes the spelling!no paragraphs!oh

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 19/07/2014 21:37

My post earlier wasn't intended as taking the piss, Fanjo, it was actually pointing out the hypocrisy - no undiganosed child can possibly just be naughty, but if a child with diagnosed SEN is misbehaving, the immediate reaction is 'No, they need to learn' or 'Why should our children be punished for their behaviour'. It was the hypocrisy I was taking the piss out of, not the children themselves.

x2boys · 19/07/2014 21:37

OK Fanjo .

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 19/07/2014 21:37

As I said before. If you don't want people to consider the mere possibility that's up to you.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 19/07/2014 21:38

Moomin, you weren't, but many others were. It's a shame, it could have been a funny thread.

Anyway I made my point.

missingwordsround · 19/07/2014 21:41

Should horses poop outside my house in the road?

Is there a definitive MN answer to this?

Pipbin · 19/07/2014 21:42

NDN being noisy - THE BASTARDS.
NDN asking you to be quiet - SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A DETACHED.

x2boys · 19/07/2014 21:43

I think in my sons case its blatently obvious he has special needs but there are just badly behaved children around and sometimes they are just badly behaved. No special needs.

MyFairyKing · 19/07/2014 21:47

Dog poo - EVIL
Cat poo - acceptable

MyFairyKing · 19/07/2014 21:48

x2boys I'm sure you can agree that you can't tell if the screaming child in the cafe has special needs, is unwell or is just plain throwing a tantrum.

scottishmummy · 19/07/2014 21:52

Inappropriate behaviour in adult:mental illness.Inappropriate behaviour in child:sn

x2boys · 19/07/2014 21:53

Myfairyking my point was that all to often people suggest a badly behaved child has/ undiagnosed special needs they may well have but often they are just badly behaved which is insulting to those of us who do have children with special needs ,and by the way my special needs child is not badly behaved and does respond to no !

PunkrockerGirl · 19/07/2014 21:56

Be as politically correct and liberal minded as possible - essential.

Mention the big white elephant in the room and the bleeding obvious you will be flamed

MyFairyKing · 19/07/2014 21:57

x2boys How do you know that 'often' they are just badly behaved? I never said a word about your child, so not sure why you said that. Confused

LancashireTea · 19/07/2014 22:04

London: CULTURE!!!
London: AWFUL PLACE, FULL OF SLUMS AND GANGS!

x2boys · 19/07/2014 22:06

Oh ffs my point is that some children are just badlybehaved can people not accept that does it always have to be undiagnosed spe ical needs some kids are horrible they have always been around get over it ! Dont excuse bad behaviour with special needs !

scottishmummy · 19/07/2014 22:08
