Nope I think it suits - it's the Commonwealth - a great global alliance with many member countries also wearing colour combinations found elsewhere. There are so many other opportunities to present the 'traditional' Scottish (allowed by the English or penalty of death if I recall). Remember - men's kilts will be THE men's fashion item one day - and the main market will be in the countries that men already wear 'non-trousers' and of course they like bright colours.
