I like that La Roux...and Marina and the Diamonds...where did they go?

Just googled though and found that La Roux has in fact got a new album out...maybe the question should be why does it take some artists so long between albums?

Yes maybe they did just get on with things...but the making an album thing...that takes a LOT of hard work. Why do they just bugger off again once they get somewhere?

Lauryn Hill disappeared after her brilliant solo album. I think she caught Excessive Religion and had lots of kids.

Lauren hill spent time in jail for failing to pay tax in the US too - I'm sure I saw an ad recently about her touring a live show in the UK. Off to google to see if I've imagined that...

I'm a writer and my first novel was the result of about five years' worth of thoughts. Some artists just cannot write a second album on demand and need as long again to get it out, by which time they've sometimes been dropped. La roux's new album is great though.
