Dn seams to always be coming home with sweets, I just think it should be up to the parents to decide on these things, I would be livid. Should the school ban this?

Good stuff Giles. Cheers.

Right, seems that its time to get that letter written -
As they say, strike while the irons hot!

Enjoy your sweets, all.

Veggie percy pigs are super-charged with sugar. I got the shakes the first and only time I had them. Hasn't anyone tried to ban them yet for being pogs?

At DSs old school there were lots of kids with religious diets, so I used to get veggie sweets from the health food store (jelly bears) to ensure that noone felt left out. There are lots of veggie/vegan versions of sweets. As I said before, the only time I ever had a problem was when a child bit into a glo stick (not because he thought it was a sweet).

Curly wurlies are the best sweets ever.

Am I the only person who wonders whether you are in fact promoting your own blog?
