I never judge anyone cos I think that's just wrong but there's a mum in the baby groups I go to about four . She's got a toddler and a newborn her mother comes to help as well but it always seems she's never with her toddler just her baby and today she was with the other young babies mums bit of the group and her toddler climb on a chair t
So he can see his mum then run towards her but in sec she ushered her mum over to get him . I think that's really bad I would never do that . What do you all think ? Am I bang on or just being a bitch

OP posts:

If this has upset you so much OP maybe you'll think twice before you batter the shit out of the alphabet post again in this vein.

slithytove · 30/05/2014 21:28

You can always tell when it's Friday night on mumsnet Grin

IsChippyMintonExDirectory · 30/05/2014 21:28

If you're in tears OP that's what you get for being judgemental. Which is what you are doing to this lady. Call it a life lesson

RabbitSaysWoof · 30/05/2014 21:29

Viv batter the shit......Grin Just woke ds up laughing.

Helpys · 30/05/2014 21:29

And don't you think the mother would be in tears if she knew you were judging her so harshly. Perhaps reflect on how you're feeling now and be a little kinder.

FidelineandFumblin · 30/05/2014 21:30

If you are vulnerable in term of age or mental health issues OP maybe you should tell us.

MrsSpencerReid · 30/05/2014 21:30

That could be me, however I go to groups on my own or with my partner, so it's not phew, it's hard with a newborn and a toddler and I hate the fact I don't get the 1 on 1 time with ds1 I used to,

gordyslovesheep · 30/05/2014 21:31

see being judged is not nice

ineedausername · 30/05/2014 21:31

I must be a bloody awful mum then! When i had a newborn and a 1 year old, my MIL came down everyday to help and took her out most mornings. My newborn was refluxy and awful, i was surviving on 3 hours broken sleep per night.. my son needed constantly held.
I needed her help, hoik those judgy pants up as far as you can OP.
Even now, with a big strong, energetic tantrummy 2 year old boy, and a sensitive 3 year old girl i need her help. Its difficult with 2, when neither are what you would class as 'easy'.
You cannot possibly judge on a small snapshot of her day.

BoffinMum · 30/05/2014 21:31

I have laughed so much I needed to undo my bra.

HaroldLloyd · 30/05/2014 21:32

How much do you make in a week because I have seen loads of money.

I think your all being really unfair here to be honest. My nan picked me up once when I was a toddler and I still bear the scars Sad

Ignore them OP. Nest of toddler hating bastards in here.

BoffinMum · 30/05/2014 21:32

Who on earth would want to be bothered with a rambunctious toddler when a cute baby is a good excuse to take it easy and leave that to grandma?

FFS.

FidelineandFumblin · 30/05/2014 21:32

Otherwise your posts are weirdly erratic

I just got deleted for expressing hope that you weren't all you seemed to be, so I won't do that again, but AIBU is not a fun place if you're new.

PleaseJustShootMeNow · 30/05/2014 21:32

Please stop being mean to the OP, you'll chase her away. I need to know how much she earns or I'll never sleep again. It's like that scene in Life of Brian when he's hiding from the Romans and just stops his sermon half way through. It cruel torture.

slithytove · 30/05/2014 21:33

I'm quite grateful for this thread, DD2 will be arriving when DS is 18 months and I didn't know when I was going to get toddler free time.

GiveTwoSheets · 30/05/2014 21:33

Don't come to my house then my toddler always upset for one reason or another. I had his overnight bag packed before my mother said she was only taking him to the shops! Oh if only nanny didn't live so far away! And this comes from me a mother that is neither young or has a newborn.

ViviPru · 30/05/2014 21:34

There there back to sleep now, it's just silly women on the internet.

slithytove · 30/05/2014 21:34

please, all you need to know is that her weekly income is more than you will EVER see. Start adding it up I guess Grin

FidelineandFumblin · 30/05/2014 21:34

MNHQ why did I just get deleted TWICE? (I can follow the logic of the first) Hmm

MrsSpencerReid · 30/05/2014 21:34

Sorry, sent by accident due to wriggly baby, the toddler is he really happy to do his own thing whereas the baby needs cuddles so whilst it would appear I ignore him, he wouldn't have it any other way!!

realitygone · 30/05/2014 21:35

Yabu.

BoffinMum · 30/05/2014 21:36

Has anyone made the point that the massive earners really don't arse about with toddler groups etc?

PleaseJustShootMeNow · 30/05/2014 21:36

please, all you need to know is that her weekly income is more than you will EVER see. Start adding it up I guess grin

I spent 18 years working in a bank. She must be the Queen.

HaroldLloyd · 30/05/2014 21:36

I go to toddler groups and I earn more money than you have ever seem plus a pound.

It's the only place you can get a good judge on these days I find.
