For me it's UKIP all the way in the EU elections - I really hope they gain a good number of seats. I want to be represented in the EU by a strongly anti EU MEP. I wouldn't vote for them in a general election though - mainly because I think that would be playing into the hands of the filthy Labour scum who'll just piss all my taxes away on fucking dole scroungers and wars.

Its pretty simple really. If one of the mainstream parties tackled immigration, UKIP wouldn't even be on the radar.

As UKIP love to remind us, there's no restrictions on EU migrants anymore. So non of the major parties can do anything other than leave the EU. Labour & Lib Dems aren't up for that and the Tories are making the right noises but ultimately will see the folly too.

Unfortunately immigration has become the whipping boy for our economic woes. A few years ago it was bankers that were the root of all evil. Now thanks to the press and UKIP's agenda it's immigration.

From what I've read if you take immigration as a whole, it's benefited our country rather than made it worse. Of course there are challenges. But the press portrayal of immigrant crime sprees and benefit scroungers are completely disproportionate to the vast majority who come, get a job and get on with life.

UKIP have played a blinder in this respect. They've played the immigration card well and tapped into the fears of the many.

The truth is that in the long run we do need immigration so we can get young workers to fill a growing economy and in twenty years time, pay taxes for the pensions for our OAP's (ie. ourselves).

It's so depressing. I only have a few friends on facebook (less than 50) so thought I'd weeded out the twats, but still had to delete 3 people posting UKIP crap. :(

I know nothing about your children but have no desire to lock anyone's children up unless they're criminals! Nor does UKIP btw.

I'm not saying stop immigration. Just implement a points system. If you have a skill we need, great. If not, you don't get entry to the UK. I don't believe for a second that mass unskilled immigration is good for the country. The amount of tax you pay on the minimum wage no-where near covers the cost of using the NHS, schools etc.

We already have a points based system for immigration. But it only applies to non-EU nationals because one of the founding principles of the EU is the free movement of labour.

That's why UKIP are banging on so much about leaving the EU to regain control of our borders.
