To think that this is a strange combination for siblings' names?

And yes, I know it's none of my business blah blah blah. And for the record I do think that they are both lovely names, however...

A friend of a friend has a DD called Ava, and has just had a baby girl and called her Eva?

AIBU to think that that's practically like calling them both the same name? Plus it just sounds really twee.

I'm still a bit sad that DH spotted that one and nixed William. I'd have loved for them to have some excellent adventures!

I shit you not my friend's cousin called her twin boys Bill and Ted. She couldn't understand the hilarity as she hadn't seen the film.

CheesyBadger · 09/04/2014 20:17

Slightly different, but friends of a friend are called Sam and Phil, and they have children called Grant and Mitchell ... It cannot have been a mistake!

CheesyBadger · 09/04/2014 20:18

A lovely one, a colleague has Ethan and Bethany... One name neatly inside the other while not being remotely similar Smile

sazzle82 · 09/04/2014 20:18

My dad and his sister are Peter and Rita. There are 6 of them in total, but only two that rhyme. They have the same middle name too (Joseph and Josephine). Always makes me chuckle Grin
