A friend of a friend has a DD called Ava, and has just had a baby girl and called her Eva?

AIBU to think that that's practically like calling them both the same name? Plus it just sounds really twee.

I grew up knowing sisters called Susannah and Anna which although not as similar as the names in the OP still pretty samey and another pair called Cassie and Nova!

Slightly different, but friends of a friend are called Sam and Phil, and they have children called Grant and Mitchell ... It cannot have been a mistake!

My dad and his sister are Peter and Rita. There are 6 of them in total, but only two that rhyme. They have the same middle name too (Joseph and Josephine). Always makes me chuckle
