To start another thread about lotus biscuit spread?

I bought some this morning as it is on offer in tesco.

I've eaten half a jar of it already

And then I looked at the calorie content

I've hidden the jar so DH won't know how much I have eaten

For the record it tasted best with vanilla ice cream...

It's got crack in it or something. Completely addictive!

Although does look a teeny bit like the content of ds2's nappy. Maybe I should concentrate on that next time I dive in.

I don't like it - tastes like regurgitated biscuit to me.

ruby that's what I always think of when I look at it....masticated biscuits. Although I may try to get past the gag reflex and try it anyway....just out of curiosity

I bought this yesterday!! Was embarassingly over excited when I saw it and thought about starting a thread . Lush on toast but vanilla ice cream you say....

it's.not nice. unless you like the taste of creamed stale biscuits

Crunchy or smooth?

I've only tried the smooth but in the interests of comparative research I feel I really ought to try the crunchy.

And actually perhaps get the smooth as well just to be absolutely sure.

its disgusting. I have an unopened jar of the crunchy as I had the smooth spread thinly on toast and it made me vomit it was soo sweet and sickly. Shame as I love the lotus biscuits.

the crunchy is better. When I'm decorating DP brings me cups of tea and a desert spoon covered in biscuit spread. I love him so much

They had it in our Tesco yesterday. Alongside Nutella & peanut butter :)

Ive literally JUST started a thread in chat about this. I have an unopened jar of crunchy on the coffee table and a spoon. I'm too nervous to try it...

It's a spread that tastes like lotus biscuits. Think of tge biscuits you get with your tea/coffee on Areoplanes, that's the taste. I like lotus biscuits but not the spread.

I've just had two teaspoons. Can't decide what it would be best with.

It's beautiful! I like it spread thickly on chocolate digestives :)

It is quite sweet and I usually have to drink some milk afterwards!

Damn I've already been to tesco and I forgot to look for it. Sounds like its worth making a second visit for.

OH MY GOD just popped it open, and had a small spoonful. I have angels dancing in my mouth!!!!
