I am having a hard time at work. Invited friend and her dh over for dinner last night and had a real moan about it. As they were leaving I thanked her for listening to me ranting and her husband leaned over me and yelled hard enough for spittle to hit my face, " next time tell someone who gives a shit!". They then left, whilst I attempted to laugh it off. I really want to ring her this morning but another part of me just wants to wash her hands of the whole situation.

Me too. I shouldn't have bitten but hey ho. I think some people just get a kick out of being unpleasant and unfortunately it was your turn to be on the receiving end.

Have some Thanks.

I know I read that post, I can't remember what it said but it was no more offensive than a number aimed at the op.

I very nearly bit a number of times but decided not to, it really wasn't worth it Wink Just as well really as I would obviously have been deleted!!

There have been some goady fuckers on this thread but I wouldn't have imagined they would have stooped this low!! FFS!!!

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 31/03/2014 23:34

Yes, OP has been subjected to rather nasty, repeated accusations and attacks by a couple of posters - all of which have obviously just stayed the right side of the guidelines to still be up. V unpleasant.

I can't believe the flaming you're getting here OP. YOU've done fuck all wrong, his behaviour was ATROCIOUS and some people are trying to blame you for it.

Makes you wonder what these people make excuses for in real life.

flippinada · 01/04/2014 10:33

I can't believe it either.

Pages of nasty insinuations, thinly veiled character assassinations and outright goading directed at the op are allowed to stand but my comment wasn't?
