To ask how many of you have a 'natural' lady garden?

I used to sport the landing strip up until I was about 6 months pregnant with ds who is now 2. I stopped shaving as I couldn't see what I was doing, also might sound daft but kind of wanted it to be the way nature intended to give birth.
Since then I haven't shaved, waxed, trimmed etc. I'm not massively hairy so it's not a full on 80s style bush.
DP moaned the other day as he liked it the way I used to have it. Hmm. I sort of told him tough luck it's my bits and quite frankly I cba and like not having itchy stubble. He watched our Baby come out of there fgs surely he realises it's not a fashion accessory?
AIBU to not make the effort for dp?

Each to his own. My wife has never shaved her garden and never really trims either. It it had been any other way, I wouldn't have got with her.

mbosnz · 19/06/2020 17:46

I have a natural pubic hair growth, yes.

Namechangecringe · 19/06/2020 18:07

Occasionally I tidy mine a little but generally I just let it grow how it wants. I can’t say it’s had any negative impact on anything.

Toomboom · 19/06/2020 18:10

Au naturel here. Lives too short to worry about things like this. I have never really understood the need to shave everything for a man. Does a man ever do it for you?

mbosnz · 19/06/2020 18:11

Why is it called a garden? I'd be seriously concerned if anything was growing there! (Apart from pubic hair. ..)

borntohula · 19/06/2020 18:11

I prefer to shave. Boyfriend has never indicated that he cares either way.

Stompythedinosaur · 19/06/2020 18:35

Yup. I never felt the need to do anything else. Literally no one who has got to the point of seeing me with no knickers on declined to have sex on the basis of my having things natural.

BarbedBloom · 19/06/2020 18:37

I am hair free, I prefer it that way and have been the same since I was a teen in the early 90s. What others do is obviously up to them

Ok.. let's call it a bush or pubic hair lol. Might as well keep the talk real.

There is nothing wrong with your choice either because it is all a personal choice. Things change when you are in a committed relationship like marriage or otherwise. People just have to decide what they are willing to live with around the area of intimacy. Ultimately, no one can force anyone to groom or look a certain way. Men tend to be more visual so that is something to be worked out between a couple.
Amibannedorwhat · 19/06/2020 18:51

🙋‍♀️ me!

XDownwiththissortofthingX · 19/06/2020 18:54

@Toomboom

Clean as a whistle here, and I do it purely for myself as I much prefer it. No man on the scene.

Avelosa · 19/06/2020 18:55

Why on earth has someone been searching for pubic hair threads from 2014Hmm

Dylaninthemovies1 · 19/06/2020 18:56

During lockdown it’s a bloody forest there.
But normally i veet my bikini line every week: and give my pubes a wee trim. Only because I love swimming!

DH doesn’t care either way

SchrodingersImmigrant · 19/06/2020 18:57

6 and half years!!! Wtf people.

hullabaloo68 · 19/06/2020 19:01

Mines a 70's afro life's too short for pubes angst

TimeWastingButFun · 19/06/2020 19:15

I'd like to not have hair. I normally cut it really short, as short as it can be with scissors. I really don't want to go to a salon, and when I shaved it it was great the first time, but a couple of days later when I did it again I had all these bleeding bumps! That was after a long hot shower, so I'm not sure why that happened. I've been nervous of the razor since. What do other people do if they don't go to a salon?

Nice bit of search/bumping there. I didn't notice the date until @AtYourCervix popped up.
Midsommar · 19/06/2020 19:35

Mine is like Chewbacca at the moment but not out of choice! No salons open and if I shave it ends up with a huge rash. It's awful!

underneaththeash · 19/06/2020 19:51

@Midsommar and me!

letmethinkaboutitfornow · 19/06/2020 19:57

@ineedsomeinspiration

Can I ask how old you are? I'm 32 and I have noticed it seems to be almost unacceptable amongst some of my younger work colleagues to not be styled.
I work in a different environment where we don’t really check each other’s lady gardens 🤔🤔🤔

It’s more hygienic to have it trimmed. I cannot imagine leaving it ala natural...

Youcunnyfunt · 19/06/2020 19:59

I have thick, dark pubes. Luckily not down my thighs, but definitely between my legs.

I lasered the edges a long time ago and it’s lasted well. It’s a neat triangle in front. I trim and then it’s neat. Sometimes I shave my bum hole and between my legs (tops of thighs). Mostly to keep hairs inside bikini bottoms and my bum- well I think it’s easier to wash and wipe clean hair free. Unfortunately I have a fair amount of bum hair too.

Now you all know far too much about me Grin

CatFaceCats · 19/06/2020 20:09

Zombie 🧟‍♂️ thread! And a strange one to resurrect to talk about ones wife.....

ABlackRussian · 19/06/2020 20:12

Totally hairless; totally sex-related.

rosegoldwatcher · 19/06/2020 20:19

Show him this and threaten to do the same if he doesn't stop with the whinging.
