Fucking bastarding Minecraft

DS1 has just discovered it. So DS2 wants to play. And now fucking DH is playing 'so he can help the kids' - yeah, right. It has been the sole topic of conversation for a week, and now I am chilling out with wine and MN and the bastarding thing is going in the background. Seriously, you're 42. Fuck off.

Ds8 and dd5 love it and as long as they are locked away playing it quietly in the other room I just don't care! DD's worlds are all full of pink houses. Ds has a geek gang and it's all they talk about.
I make them go outside occassionally to interact with real people Grin

BHS in Bristol was sold out of most of the T-shirts. Had to get a £25 hoody. Deffo going to get a Stampy one. Now if only Venturian does one too. Like a Boss.

DS (7) addicted. Can someone tell me how to fix his IPad Minecraft app so he can play in other people's worlds?

Hopeful that this might mean my escape from Stampy (oooh mummy look Stampy is getting attacked by googlies again)....

I set up a minecraft server for myself and a couple of addicted family members using this site. It does charge a small amount monthly though (something like £4 for up to 4 players when I joined).

Those who are asking what its like, it is basically like a large lego game. But you can combine certain blocks in certain patterns to create items of use in the game (like swords, treasure chests, and interactive traps). A large part of your time is spent mining/searching for various blocks, and then building whatever you can imagine with them.

My parents have bought dd earphones for Xmas after enduring 10 whole minutes of cupquake ( excitable American who makes youtube videos about playing minecraft.) I also bought her earphones....sadly I've endured rather more than 10 mins

My five year old loves stampy and watches his you tube videos more than play the game. TBH he only plays with with me for about 30 mins a fortnight or so? We have the pocket edition on the ipad and my android phone, and play together on the network, and the ipad mirrored on the TV. We mostly dig tunnels together. Grin

I've also bought us a raspberry pi for Christmas for educational purposes and they do a free version on there that I might download. DS has got a t shirt for Christmas from eBay. I've got the manual. DP thinks we are weird and it's really funny watching him try and make polite conversation with us about it.

Stampy does do t shirts, but he only does them in white for the logos I liked. I face booked him suggesting dark colours that are small children friendly so he can put me in his love garden but he didn't reply. [sadface]

By the way, some of stampy's first videos of minecraft do have swearing, so be aware, but all the latest stuff doesn't. He also has a second channel called animal lovers which he shares with BallisticSquid. You tubers make a serious amount of money based on views and subscriptions, by the way...

The music on the Xbox version sound like something that should be played at a Funeral...
Apart from that it's fab, DS and DD1 love it and are really good at it. I'm naffed off because for some reason despite being pretty good at computer games I can't get the hang of it at all!
