Weird parent at school

I was friends with a Chinese lady at my daughters school. The Chinese lady's daughter fell out with another child at school, who's mum i also spoke to. Because I talked to the other mum,the Chinese lady now won't speak to me! My daughter and the Chinese lady's daughter are still friends at school and play together at school, but if we walk past the little girl whist she is with her mother, the child turns away and looks at the grass so she doesn't have to say hello! Yet play together every day at school. My daughter asked if she wanted to come and play, she replied 'I can't my mum doesn't know I play with you' . Our only sin was to walk with the other mum she had fallen out with, bizarre behaviour!!!

My closest and dearest friend is Chinese. She's also an only child.

I can confirm not all Chinese people are like your "weird parent" from school. Strange eh? Hmm.

Is it me you're looking for.....?

One in five people in the world is Chinese, so at least a fifth of you lot must be too, right?

Re the too hard to come back. This is an anonymous forum. We dont so much as know each other's names. We dont know what others look like, where they live, nothing.
there are zero meaningful rl consequences to interactions on here.
op could have come back and said yes, I can see why it sounds like im a dick. Could have come back and said screw you all, eat shit and die, could have namechanged and still be on this very thread for all we know.
nobody here would know the op if they fell over them.
but one thing is for sure, no matter how people attempt to excuse or minimise, there is no way that op would have posted with repeated references to hair colour or eye colour or height etc. That in itself is meaningful. Why are posts involving multiple people not littered with references to blue eyed woman, brown haired man? It is because a, b, c does the job just fine unless you feel ethnicity is meaningful.
