to think it is totally reasonable for cat owners not to pick up poo

I mean how can they?

I have 2 cats and now 1 puppy. I watch my puppy when she is out and know where she is, I can see if she is pooing. If she disappears under a bush I check (with my sense of smell) and pick up if necessary. I carry poo bags everywhere.

However, my cats come and go as they please. When they were kittens I had a litter tray that they used, but as they started to go outside with a cat flap, they stopped using the litter tray.

My (ex) neighbour asked me to come and pick up after my cats, but as there are lots and lots of cats in the area, there was no knowing that it was my cats.

I am not a bad pet owner. But I think it is unreasonable to expect cat owners to have the same poo pick up responsibility as dog owners.

Autumncat3 knocked my cup of tea all over me this morning. He's already planning my demise.

AutumnStarOfWonder · 05/12/2013 10:14

Stop laughing at dead livestock, fuckwits!

MummytoMog · 05/12/2013 10:15

Would just like to point out that my cat's kittendaddy was actually very involved with their upbringing. Despite having had all relevant bits removed since, Mr and Mrs Mog are still very much in love, although they don't express it through procreation any more, just mutual grooming. Sometimes Mrs Mog will bring Mr Mog a bluetit or a squab. Mr Mog will lovingly fart on her in thanks.

I'm going to have a special hunting day where all the cats are blind! Now blind cats really ARE funny! I might tape little white sticks to their hands. Glad we all agree that blindness is such a jolly thing to rip the piss out of, otherwise this post might seem a bit poor taste.

thebody · 05/12/2013 10:23

ah mummy heartwarming.

my cats a slapper to be fair although she is currently savaging a huge pheasant egg and a cow on the neighbours lawn. where of course she will then do a massive shit and beckon the children to rub it all over them as she's like that.

Sparklingbrook · 05/12/2013 10:24

This is the thread that keeps on giving isn't it? Grin

They don't have hands vtech-they just wish they did.

thebody · 05/12/2013 10:25

vtech clearly you need help petal.

Sparklingbrook · 05/12/2013 10:25

Sparkling Cat is out the back savaging a blind gamekeeper as we speak....

AutumnStarOfWonder · 05/12/2013 10:26

Jazz, I'm not sure this business venture is really going to take off? You could consider something else? Aromatherapy maybe?

HesterShaw · 05/12/2013 10:26

Hey jazz, morning! Can I just say that I've lived in the "countryside" as you put it all my life, and I think gamekeepeers are murderous cunts, responsible for more wildlife deaths, than any other profession in Britain with the exception of fishermen. They are not generally held in the high regard you seem to think. Lots of people agree with me, the RSPB for example. You know, the protectors of songbirds and all that?

I do like the comparison of cats and orcas hunting. Never was there a truer word spoken.

HesterShaw · 05/12/2013 10:27

Oh yes, blindness. Yes, we all definitely agreed blindness was very funny you deranged twat

vtechjazz · 05/12/2013 10:35

Might have a trophy for the hunter who can blind a cat with a BB gun on my special blind hunt day. It would have cats eyes from the road on it! I'd call it 'the sparkle trophy' as I know she'd love the fun and games involved in blinding things!

Blind cats with hands Grin

I'm not sure where you live Jazz, but you cats sound odd, are you sure they're cats and not people?

Have you pissed off the folk at the care home? I bet it's them what's shitting on your lawn. They're like that. They're in league with cats.

HesterShaw · 05/12/2013 10:37

Anyway back to the genuine posters....

vtechjazz · 05/12/2013 10:43

No old people allowed on my safari park. They feed the cats. Only blind old people allowed, we all need a good laugh right????

AutumnStarOfWonder · 05/12/2013 10:52

Hester, I think this thread is now beyond help like some of the people on it.

HesterShaw · 05/12/2013 10:53

I know. I'm done :(

thebody · 05/12/2013 11:14

yep done here.

I don't belive some of the posts here but if they are true I sincerely hope that anyone who abuses or hurts defenceless animals gets the karma they deserve.

I can't get my head around anyone who gets pleasure from hurting other living things, like I can't get my head around child abusers but there we go. horrible horrible people around and glad I don't know anyone like this in real life.

Vtechjazz I wish you no harm but hope you access the help you most definatly need.

vtechjazz · 05/12/2013 11:30

And I hope all the disgusting so called mothers who laugh openly at children being blinded get help too, and have their kids removed to homes where human suffering is not seen as fun and less important than cat suffering. Vtech, out.

HesterShaw · 05/12/2013 11:53

PS I am not a mother (apart from to my murderous, evil criminal mastermind ickle fluffikins obviously. Does this make it ok for me to laugh openly at children being blinded?

(sorry, couldn't resist. Really will go now)

Heartbrokenmum73 · 05/12/2013 12:26

I'm not biting@Jazz.

But I do love all you wonderful cat-loving, non-blind-laughing, people on this thread.

Merry Christmas to all of you - may your turkey taste of cats anus Grin
